The D 3800M's modular output section lets you choose between wired or wireless operation with the optional TM 40 UHF module or a conventional gold-plated XLR with or without an on/off switch and it only takes a few seconds to change to either mode. With its supercardioid pickup pattern and wide, extended response, the D 3800M will let your audience hear every nuance of your sound.

The VariMotion transducer with neodymium magnet structure delivers higher output for increased dynamic range. The built-in double-diaphragm suspension system and humbucking coil ensure that mechanical and electronic noise is suppressed to inaudible levels. The dent-resistant spring steel grille with integrated windscreen is easy to remove and clean The D 3800M comes complete with an SA 61 unbreakable stand clamp and a metal hard-shell road case to protect the microphone.
