The Audix MB5055's 50-inch carbon boom allows you to place a high output Audix M1255B mic (supplied with the MB5055) wherever you need exceptional coverage and unsurpassed audio fidelity. Equipped with an adjustable clutch for mic stand mounting, the laser thin carbon fiber boom is very light, very portable, and non reflective so that it never blocks the action even in video applications.

The MB5055 was designed for choir or group vocal applications where you need to place the M1255B mic capsule high enough to capture the top tier singers, at stage front where there is minimal to no mic coverage, or for overhead micing at recitals and symphonic productions. The MB5055-M1255B MicroBoom combination provides fast and easy mic placement and uncompromised audio quality live or in the studio.
