In concert with the external Amp Loop, the DigiTech RP1000 also boasts an Amp/Cabinet bypass that allows you to switch off the RP1000's internal amplifier and cabinet models so your amplifier's tone stands alone.

The DigiTech RP1000 features the Pedalboard option (made famous on the RP500) that turns footswitches 6 to 10 into stompbox-style effect on/off switches.

When the Amp/Cab Bypass is used alongside the Pedalboard mode, the DigiTech RP1000 effectively turns into 100 different pedalboards. You gain instant access to preset changes as well as stompbox on/off control, to truly access the best of both worlds.

The DigiTech RP1000's onboard Phrase Looper allows you to create on-the-fly loops for practicing, composing, or performing. With 20 seconds of recording time and Stop, Play, and Overdub controls, you can layer different guitar lines and sound seamlessly into song ideas or one-man jams.
