Genz Benz STL6012T Shuttle Bass Combo Amplifier: The Shuttle Series is built for transport.

The Genz Benz Shuttle Series is filled with amps that are both light enough for easy transport and loud enough to be played at home or on stage. The STL6012T is their 600 watt, 32 pound behemoth. Blending a 12AX7 tube preamp with exclusive Signal Shape circuitry the Genz Benz STL6012T takes that which is modern such as EQ tone modeling and blends it with the warmth/rawness that only a true tube pre can provide.

How is the Genz Benz STL6012T so Light? The STL6012T first of all has an extremely efficient and light amplifier. Detachable and easily storable from the cabinet section the amp section of the STL6012 houses all the controls and technology that pumps out insane amounts of volume when connected to the cabinet. Class D technology which is more energy efficient lets the STL6012T pump out more volume without overheating. This technology also allows it to provide so much volume in such a small frame. Neodymium speakers are part of the modernity you get with the Shuttle series. The STL6012T has a 12-inch speaker that is both light and extremely powerful.

The new Shuttle STL6012T incorporates a highly innovative removable chassis design powered 600 watt design, while remaining extremely compact and weighting only 3.75 lbs. The Shuttle 60 blends the best of analog and digital platforms to produce the ultimate in warmth, punch and power.

The signal path utilizes a 12AX7 tube preamp with our acclaimed Active EQ and responsive Signal Shape circuitry. An optional foot switch is available for use with the Signal Mute and our 3 Signal Shaping circuits.

The power amp section is a leading-edge high power CLASS D module, which also incorporates a Switch Mode Power Supply. The Shuttle 60 delivers 375 watts at 8 ohms and over 600 watts at 4 ohms.

As a part of the unique Shuttle design the amplifier can be removed from the "saddle" of the combo models to provide ultimate flexibility in this bass system.

The Shuttle 60 chassis is matched to a compact, lightweight 1 x 12 in. and tweeter enclosure loaded with our GNX12300 Neodymium loudspeaker. The rear ported cabinet delivers the rich, tight response of the Shuttle amplifier and weights in at travel friendly 32 lbs. A bottom mounted tilt-back kickstand is provided. An 8 ohm combo which delivers 375 watts into the internal speaker and over 600 watts with an extension cabinet.
