The Les Paul Studio has a carved maple cap on a mahogany body, a 22-fret '59 Les Paul Rounded Mahogany neck, a 24 3/4" scale length, and trapezoid inlays. The ebony, wine red, and fireburst LP Studios all have rosewood fretboards, while the alpine white ups the ante with an ebony fretboard, for just a little more cut to the Studio's tone. The Gibson Les Paul Studio employs a pair of Alnico-magnet humbuckers to get its distinctive tone - the 490R neck pickup and 498T bridge pickup, with a 3-way selector switch and dual volume/tone controls. This guitar also ships with Gibson Brite Wire strings on and a hardshell case with the Gibson logo, so any venue will know you mean business.
