Rapidly adding to its groundbreaking and industry-standard EON series portable loudspeakers, JBL is introducing EON 300 series portable PA loudspeakers at AES. The EON 300 series puts the next generation of EON systems within reach of an even broader range of users, delivering the same fundamental design features, sonic performance and integrated utility as the new EON 500 series, at an even more affordable price.
The EON 305 is a 15-inch, two-way, passive, portable speaker system. It is a light weight loudspeaker system capable of full-bandwidth reproduction at high levels. The EON 305 is comprised of a 15-inch (380 mm) JBL woofer, a 1-inch (25.4 mm) neodymium high frequency compression driver coupled to a 100-degree Horizontal by 60-degree Vertical waveguide. The system will handle 250 watts continuously and 1000 watts peak
The EON 305 is well-suited to live sound reinforcement, speech and vocals, music playback in entertainment, A/V, and institutional venues - especially when ease of use and portability are important factors. The rugged, portable design is a solid match for powered mixer systems.
JBL's history is rooted in that of its namesake and founder, James B. Lansing. A true pioneer in Professional sound technology, Lansing developed many processes and products from the earliest motion picture sound systems in the 1930s to some of the first drivers in Leo Fender's guitar amps in the mid 1940s.
Today, JBL produces a wide variety of audio equipment, from consumer electronics to portable loudspeakers and subwoofers to high-end installed line arrays. Their commitment to innovative design is evident in everything they produce, with an emphasis on affordable, reliable gear for the working musician.
