The JBL EON 315 2-Way Powered Loudspeaker: An Affordable, Self-Contained PA System

Rapidly adding to its groundbreaking and industry-standard EON series portable loudspeakers, JBL is introducing EON 300 series portable PA loudspeakers at AES. The EON 300 series puts the next generation of EON systems within reach of an even broader range of users, delivering the same fundamental design features, sonic performance and integrated utility as the new EON 500 series, at an even more affordable price.

The EON 315 is a 15-inch, two-way, powered, portable speaker system. It is a complete self contained sound reinforcement system, capable of full-bandwidth reproduction at high levels with the added benefit of a microphone pre-amp enabling the direct connection of a dynamic microphone. The EON 315 is comprised of a 15-inch (380 mm) JBL woofer, a 1-inch (25.4 mm) neodymium high frequency compression driver coupled to a 100-degree H by 60-degree V waveguide. Both components are driven by the discrete channels of a 280 watt Class-D integrated power amplifier. The input section contains all cross-over functions, protection, and system EQ functionality.

The JBL Story
