6/8 Shells
Vision drumsets feature two very different shell thicknesses: 6 plies on rack toms and 8 plies on bass drums and floor toms, for incredibly balanced sound. Larger drums require more energy to project as much as smaller drums, so Pearl increased the shell thickness of the floor toms and bass drums on all Vision drums to give you clarity, control and balance throughout the drumset.

SST Shell Design
Vision Series offers a sonically advanced recipe of strategically arranged plies of premium wood to maximize frequency response of every component. As with all Pearl drums, each shell is formed from our legendary SST construction process that uses extreme heat, Precision-cut scarf joints, our proprietary Acoustiglue and over 1000lbs of hydraulic pressure to create the ultimate acoustic air chamber.

Vision Snare Drum
The Vision Series features Pearl's legendary SensiTone snare drums, which have been the choice of discerning drummers for years. As the name implies these drums provide extreme sensitivity combined with amazing tone and clarity due to their 5.5 inch steel shell, which projects intense volume with articulate response for dynamic power and cut.

Pearl's innovative SR-900 Duo-Motion strainer can be converted from a side lever action to a Gladstone-type throw-off. The precision contoured lever allows for fast and absolute on/off function. A large adjustment knob insures fine tuning for superior snare sensitivity.

Vision 900 Series Hardware
Vision's 900 Series hardware provides the ultimate combination of rugged durability and innovative functionality. As with all of our Advanced Hardware you get professional high strength dependability with sure grip over-sized rubber feet and out parallel Sure Struts that resist lateral twisting to prevent squeaks and instability.
