    Product Description

The CDJ-800 digital vinyl turntable, makes Pioneer's ground-breaking technology available to more DJs than ever before. The design of this new Pro DJ turntable is based on the company's world-renowned jog wheel (first seen on the CDJ-1000). It also offers many of the functions that have made the CDJ line so popular in the industry. The compact, silver colored CDJ-800 boasts five completely new and unique features, including Quick Return, Auto Beat Loop, Touch Release Dial, 'Wide' Pitch Control and Digital Out. Even with the addition of these unique features, the CDJ-800 is as uncomplicated and easy to use as the simplest analog deck - which many DJs may now wish to replace.

    Quick Return
Enables a track to return instantly again and again to a cue point just by pressing the surface of the Jog Wheel.

    Auto Beat Loop
Uses 4 timing buttons to instantly create perfect 1, 2, 4, or 8 beat loops. When a loop has been produced manually with the loop in and loop out buttons, this feature allows instant 1/1, 1/2, 1/4/, 1/8 beat cuts of the initial loop.

    "Wide" Pitch Control
DJ's can use the +/- 100% pitch control range to create new sound effects from opposite ends of the sound spectrum and also to BPM match completely different tracks.

    Best of Both Worlds
DJs can take their skills to new levels of performance and creativity with the CDJ-800, using Pioneer's jog wheel technology that has reinvented the art of DJing, The jog wheel reproduces the touch and feel of an analog deck while the unit provides an impressive array of innovative digital functions. In Vinyl mode, the touch-sensitive jog wheel allows DJs to stop/cue up tracks and bend and scratch sounds. In CDJ mode, the jog wheel lets DJs speed up or slow down the music, fine-tune cue points and use all the other acclaimed CDJ functions.

    Features

When using Vinyl mode the Quick Return feature enables a track to return instantly again and again to a cue point just by pressing the surface of the jog wheel.

The Auto Beat Loop feature uses four timing buttons to instantly create perfect one, two, four or eight beat loops. When a loop has been produced manually with the loop in and loop out buttons, this feature allows instant 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 beat cuts of the initial loop.

The Touch Release Dial allows CDs playing in Vinyl mode to be slowed, stopped and relaunched at different speeds when the jog wheel is touched or released.

Playing out can also be enhanced with the deck's "Wide" Pitch Control function. DJs can use the +/- 100 percent pitch control range to create new sound effects from opposite ends of the sound spectrum and also to BPM match completely different tracks.

The Digital Out function ensures that all of the CDJ-800's digital features are carried over to any connected digital environment.

    Lasting Legends
The CDJ-800 also includes legendary Pioneer functions such as Master Tempo and Cue/Loop Memory. Master Tempo locks the pitch of a track even when its speed is changed, allowing DJs to speed up or slow down the beat, without any difference to the vocals and instruments. Cue/Loop Memory allows a DJ to set a cue or loop point and then save it to the deck's internal memory. The CDJ-800 has enough capacity to save one cue point for up to 500 CDs, so that DJs can locate their favorite cue points instantly.

    The Future - Now
The stunning-looking CDJ-800 unleashes the company's cutting edge technology onto the worldwide stage and delivers digital power to aspiring and professional DJs today.

    Vinyl/CD Mode
The CDJ-800 can be set in either Vinyl or CDJ mode. In CDJ mode, the jog dial functions just like a Pioneer CDJ player, but without the touch sensitivity.

    Vinyl Speed Adjust
With one knob you can adjust both the "wind down" and "wind up" of your song.

    Instant Reverse Play
Instant reverse is possible at a touch of a button. With no loss of tempo or pitch, it can be used immediately within any track without having to stop or start. Reverse can also be used with the Looping Function to provide endless combinations and effects.

    Vinyl Rotating Center Display
Indicates current play position. 135 frames for one rotation. The Display is animated showing the direction of play either foward or reverse.

One Touch Auto Beat Loop (New)
This is two features in one. This can set an automatic pefect loop for you at the touch of button. The 4 buttons essentially turn in to timing buttons allowing you to create 1, 2, 4, or 8 beat loops. Or if you have already created your loop manually, these 4 buttons will cut your loop to create 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 beat cuts of your initial loop.

    Quick Return Play (New)
This button, when activated, allows the user to return to the cue point simply by touching the jog dial giving the DJ more creative options.

    Extended Master Tempo (+/-10%. +/-100%)
    Pioneer's legendary Master Tempo feature offers +/- 10% and +/- 100% range.

    Extra Fast Track/Song Search
Turning the Jog Dial with the press of the Track Search or Search button allows higher speed search. This function is convenient for CDs with many tracks or for songs that have an extended length.

16 second Memory Buffer Shock System
Sound jumps or skipping is prevented by using a 16 second shock-proof memory for normal CD play (minimum of 10 seconds if scratching in vinyl mode).

    Legato Link Conversion
Equipped with Pioneer's wide range technology, the CDJ- 800 is capable of reproducing sound frequencies above 20 kHz, which are lost during normal CD-format playback. Not only does this give great sound reproduction but sounds closer to the original recording and gives more of an analog type of sound.

    Oil Damping Anti-Vibration Mechanism
Oil-dampened floating suspension prevents sound skipping, even when the player is subjected to impact during use or vibrations are generated from high volume music and low frequency bass.

    Front Loading
Designed principally for ease of CD changing, it also reduces the risk of accidental damage to the player.

    Full Functional Digital Out (New)
The CDJ-800 is equipped with an on/off digtial output (phono) which can be utilized for studio use. All functions of the player are available while in Digital Output Mode.
