Schecter BlackJack SLS C-1 FR Active Electric Guitar

Like the rest of the BlackJack SLS (Slim Line Series), the Schecter BlackJack SLS C-1 FR Active features an extremely comfortable neck and a pair of scorching Seymour Duncan Active Blackout pickups. Combined, you get an axe set to take on metal and any other hardrock style. An amazingly slim, satin-finished 25.5 inch scale maple neck with a smooth 24-fret ebony fingerboard is set-in with an extreme Ultra Access neck joint that allows for playing comfort and ease of access to the upper frets. The lightweight mahogany bodies are also slimmer than their standard Schecter counterparts. While the AHB-1 Blackout pickups excel at harder styles, this axe is well suited for a huge range of genres from funk to jazz and beyond.

Grover Tuners

Based on the original Rotomatic with an improved higher ratio gearing. The 18:1 ratio provides for finer tuning and greater stability. The finer gears provide smoother tuning and a higher degree of backlash elimination.

Ebony Fingerboard

Ebony has a snappy, crisp attack with the density of maple, but with more brittle grains, oilier pores, and a stronger fundamental tone than Maple. It has a tremendous amount of percussive overtones in the pick attack, that mute out shortly thereafter to foster great, long, sustain.

Seymour Duncan Active Pickups

Black Outs capture the tone that players want in an active design using balanced inputs. The result is 12 dB to 14 dB less noise, plus more lows, highs, and output.

Three-Piece Maple Neck

Made with three pieces of maple for extra stability. Three piece necks can withstand the test of time. Where standard necks may show aging defects from temperature and moisture changes throughout the years, the three piece neck will stay nice and straight for a lifetime of playability.

Satin Finish with Thin Profile

The SLS collection features a Satin finish neck for lightning fast playing above and below the 12th fret, a thin neck profile (19mm at 1st fret/ 20mm at 12th fret), and Ultra Access neck joint shape for easier access to the last frets.

Hell's Gate Skull Inlay

The Mother of Pearl 'Hell's Gate Skull' inlay compliments the beautiful Ebony fretboard. The thin White binding strip adds a nice highlight.

Slim Line Series

The SLS models feature a thinner Arched Top body (45mm) for a lighter and more agile feeling guitar. Combined with the ultra-thin neck profile, Ultra Access neck joint, and satin neck the SLS is built to shred!
