    Product Description

9 DVDs of Awesome Drum Performances and Kit Sounds, Across a Multitude of Styles, at a Great Price. If you want access to the broadest palette of grooves and sounds at the best price, then DrummerPack Deluxe is the expansion pack you crave.

    You get:

    AlanPack I
Alan White -- drummer for Yes and John Lennon. Great grooves from prog to pop. Not many drummers can span everything from the accessible, solid, pop sounds of John Lennon to the mixed time signatures, frenetic tempo variations and dynamic overtures of Yes. But Alan White's playing has consistently shown his yoga-like, stylistic flexibility while keeping a creative edge, regardless of genre. He played with Lennon on his successful "Imagine" album, with George Harrison on "All Things Must Pass," and has been the driving heartbeat of Yes since 1972.

    CameronPack I
Seattle drumming legend Matt Cameron from Soundgarden and Pearl Jam provides intense alt-rock plus surprises.

Defining the Seattle groove with power and grace. Matt Cameron's beats are woven into the fabric of Seattle's music scene. He received well-deserved recognition when "Grunge" (or just rock as we call it in Seattle) exploded internationally and put raging guitars and relentless, driving drums at center stage.

Matt is generally associated with his Soundgarden and Pearl Jam work. However, hes also the groove behind bands like Jack Endino's Skin Yard, Temple of the Dog, the garage-tinged Wellwater Conspiracy and the jazz-influenced Tone Dogs. Matt has even done sessions with the Smashing Pumpkins and Our Lady Peace.
His musical interests include styles that can put his technique and inventiveness to work (such as prog rock and jazz).

As a songwriter himself, he approached these GrooveSets as he would a song. From sparse and soulful to heavy tom grinds - these groove variations are perfect for building emotional drum tracks from start-to-finish.

NOTE: This DrummerPack has some very special drum sounds, including a custom built snare by Northwest drummer and drum tech Greg Keplinger, famous for perhaps the heaviest and most characteristic steel snare drum on the market. Also included is a great Yamaha David Garibaldi piccolo snare and Matts great sounding Yamaha kit. Plus you get vintage Zildjian cymbals (including 15" hi-hats) with an old-school tone that sits great in a mix!

    LonniePack I
Lonnie Wilson, two-time ACM country music "Drummer of the Year" providing everything from breakneck boom-chuck to delicate ballads and brushes. Lonnie Wilson has won the Academy of Country Music's "Drummer of the Year" award twice and Music Row Magazine's "Top Studio Drummer" award four times. He has played on countless hits with artists that include Brooks and Dunn, Faith Hill, George Jones, Martina McBride, Rascal Flats, Randy Travis and Waylon Jennings; and he's played on 19 number one singles for Tim McGraw alone!

LonniePack I has great country drums, including brush and blastix grooves that are perfect for country, alt-country, and even folk and rock styles.

    LuisPack I
Latin pop percussion from Luis Conte, percussionist for Madonna and Clapton. Luis Conte's genius stems from his ability to integrate the powerful rhythms of his native Cuba with the necessities of American pop music. His long and varied career has included numerous Hollywood film scores and mega-successful albums with Madonna, Ray Charles, Phil Collins, Santana, Shakira, Jackson Browne, Sergio Mendes, Cachao, and a multitude of other artists.

This DrummerPack includes "layered" GrooveSets so you can use either full percussion mixes (congas, shaker and timbale for example) or a single track on its own (such as shaker). Lots of basic "bread and butter" 8th and 16th patterns are covered, along with a huge assortment of individual Latin instruments sounds taken from Luis' own collection.

    TempestaPack I
Face-melting metal beats, featuring double-kicking, faster-than-thou finesse. John Tempesta is a metal journeyman. His work with Rob Zombie, Exodus, Testament, Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society, Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath guitarist), Helmet, Scum of The Earth and the Cult shows a 20 year legacy of metal mastery.

Previous band mates haven't been shy raving about John's percussive power. Testament's Eric Peterson said "John is definitely one of the best drummers in the country. He has the power of John Bonham, the finesse of Carter Beauford, and the aggression of Dave Lombardo. As a drummer, John really has it all." Former White Zombie bassist Sean Yseult said "John was the best." The votes are cast. This guy can ROCK!

John's attitude is reflected when he says "I've been able to record and tour with so many people I've always admired. I'm very fortunate, and there are so many great players out there, so I've been very lucky and blessed. If you believe in what you do, anything can happen..."

So now YOU make it happen ... go write great songs with these beats!

    MattPack I
Thunderous rock beats from Matt Sorum, the drums behind Guns 'N Roses and Velvet Revolver. Matt Sorum is the consummate rock journeyman, having played with the Cult, Guns N' Roses (which chalked-up $30 million in record sales and two Grammy and MTV award nominations). These days Matt provides the slammin' beat behind the hard rock supergroup "Velvet Revolver."

    SlyPack I
Sly Dunbar -- Bob Marley's stick mon and 1/2 of the legendary reggae "riddum twins." This is the real deal in reggae drumming. As half of "Sly & Robbie," reggae's premier rhythm section, Sly Dunbar has appeared on records by legends such as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Jimmy Cliff, Black Uhuru and Burning Spear. He has also played with non-reggae artists such as Grace Jones, Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan, and Herbie Hancock. His latest work is in the classic "Dub" style.

SlyPack I is for those who want authentic reggae and classic ska drums. From its light and playful hi-hat figures to the snare drops and ghost notes, this groove pack captures the sounds of a true Jamaican "riddim" king.

    TerryPack I
Terry Bozzio -- 80's prog, pop and more. From Zappa to UK to Missing Persons to your next tune... From the 80's progressive pop of Missing Persons to the technically "over the top" music of UK and Frank Zappa to Terry's Grammy-winning work with Jeff Beck—his playing has inspired some truly great compositions and instrumental performances. He can take things from four-on-the-floor pop to smoking double-kick grooves. He will fly into blinding double-stroke fills only to chill with a delicate, melodic part that's perfect for film soundtracks.

TerryPack I shows a player that's a hybrid of punk enthusiasm and incredible chops that showcases custom-made China cymbals and custom-made melodic toms.

    ZoroPack I
Zoro has rocked and funkified the world with Lenny Kravitz. Get on up...indeed! From the classic 60-70s rock he played with Lenny Kravitz to the old-school, R&B-meets-hip-hop beats from the Bobby Brown days, Zoro has always delivered the groove with maximum soul. Zoro wrote the popular "Commandments of R&B Drumming: A Comprehensive Guide to Soul, Funk & Hip-Hop" instructional DVD series, and the beats you find in DrumCore even reach back to funk's New Orleans roots.

This pack is filled with a huge number of grooves that lend themselves to funk, R&B, hip-hop, and pop song styles.

NOTE: You will need around 15GB of extra disk space to install all the DrummerPack Deluxe libraries.
