Providing minimum mount to shell contact, the Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System (YESS) delivers increased resonance plus it maximizes dynamic range and sustain. Mounts are attached at the drum's nodal point where shell vibration is least effected. A nylon bushing in the rod clamp offers enhanced stability. This system is also used on the floor tom brackets to deliver maximum sustain.100% Birch Shells
