Good layout. Controls are great to use when performing. Excellent toy for those have to tweak.

Quality:
Solid kit.

Value:
On the high end, but worth the money. I would buy sooner if I could get it around $2k. Attention Access: lower prices increase sales volume!

Desirability:
very sexy product. Stage or home recording use... this is the one to have today. I plan to put mine above my Korg Triton 88 key and wired to my laptop.

Sound:
Very fat sound. Exceeds the capabilities of soft synths.

Ease of Use:
They could spend more time on the control layout. Would love more types of controls. Assignable pads would be nice for loops.

Couldn't say.

Overall:
I would be satisfied with this synth for 3-5 years. Alesis Andromeda is the bomb but can't invest the time to get a degree in Alesis Engineering. This synth gives you exactly the sound you're looking for without overdoing the programming. That said, you can go a very long way into programming this toy.
