"Cymbal-Friendly?"
Feature:
There aint any real features other than the replaceable (<<< did I spell that right?)shafts and tips, which are handy.
Quality:
Excellent quality. Made of alloy, what do you think is gonna be the quality???
Value:
Priced well. This metal alloy core in this stick is definitley worth your 30 bucks.
Desirability:
It's a very stylish stick. It matches my black Tama Starclassic nicely I must say.
Sound:
These sticks sound great.
Support:
They tell you how to take care of it, use it, everything. They're a very helpful company.
Overall:
This is a very good stick. The weird thing is, though, that they seem to dent my cymbals. I got 2 packages of Zildjian ZXT's and used my Ahead sticks. After I was done using them, there were these little dents all around the damn things...I didn't know what had happened. I have a friend who's got some A Custom Zildjians, and those don't dent but these did. I used my wooden sticks and they didn't dent them, so I don't know. I jsut used these Ahead's like 10 minutes ago, and they seemed to be fine. Just make sure your cymbals are withstanding the shock from these sticks. Don't get any of those gay brands of cymabls like "Wuhan" and all that crap. Stick with Zildjian, Sabian, or Paiste.
