"Decent but boring sound, not very comfortable."
Feature:I don't like the material of the pads, my ears get very hot and sweaty from listening, which of course is quite annoying.
Quality:
Seems well built enough.
Value:
Pretty good sound for the price - but in retrospect I would have added a bit more and listened to alternatives to see what I wanted.
Sound:
The sound is ok, not very special really. However the "bang for the buck" factor is pretty high, I think. They sound fairly "flat" to me, meaning that the treble is simply put, not very exciting. Thus they presence isn't the best. I'm presently looking at buying a pair of Porta Pros or px200s, which have a higher price tag, but from short test listenings seem much better.
Overall:
It's just sitting on a shelf usually, the sound isn't very inspiring, and the great discomfort of the material on the ears is a big flaw, IMO. Also, I use 'phones to listen to my computer while working or traveling, and I actually bought a pair in the wrong category, at home I listen to my stereo system. I'm looking to buy one of the two portable 'phones above.

"4 out of 5 stars"
Feature:It comes with a standard mini plug, but it also has a 1/4" phono plug addapter.
Quality:
I had one pair for . . . 5 months and the elastic strap broke. Only downside.
Value:
These are medium cost for headphones, and the quality is very good for the price.
Desirability:
Um . . . The design is fine and it has more of a "consumer" look to it, unlike the studio monitors.
Sound:
So far, these have been the best headphones I've used. They cover the ears 100%! Even most Sony headphones won't cover your ears 100%.
Support:
I didn't call AKG because I lost the receipt and wasn't able to redeem the warranty.
Overall:
I wish the elastic lasted a lot longer. I did use these everyday, and they took very little abuse. I was hoping for a longer use.
