"Two thumbs up (almost)"
Feature:The audition feature is useful to see if eq changes are appropriate for the audio subject. Doesn't have features such as RTA, midi, ADAT, or input level controls as found on the 230D or 830 models. Lack of input level selection prevents full headroom use on +4dbu equipment.
Quality:
Well constructed, but not terribly robust looking. Nice paint and display finish. Fits correctly in a 19" rack. Used "on the road" with reliability issues. The wall wart power supply is the sole detraction from this category - especially for a $300 unit.
Value:
Great value for the money.
Desirability:
Sweeeeeeet looking unit - especially when turned on and the led's are lit. Probably the first thing people see when they look at my gear.
Sound:
Very clean. Almost absent coloring with levels at 0db.
Support:
Haven't required support
Overall:
Had I realized this was a -10dbv unit only, I would have selected another product (DEQ230D or DEQ830). The transformer power supply, as usual, takes up more than it's share of space on the power conditioner. Overall a good value for the money!
