"No reason to buy anything else."

    Feature:
Only the Oasys competes. This does everything. When I go to GC I look at all the other keyboards and say: That one is just a ROMpler, that one is just a VA synth, etc. This one does it all and very well. And it has a 40GB drive for anything. How many CF cards would that take on anything else? Can you fit 40GB of samples on a Fantom? On a Triton? On any sampler? How about a 40 million note MIDI file? How about 60 thousand presets? It's kind of ridiculous. I am now done buying stuff.

    Quality:
Better if all stainless steel. Other than that, very solid.

    Value:
What can I say? $1000.00 for $5000.00 worth of ability.

    Desirability:
    Got it.

    Sound:
Fantastic. Remember - 5 is average and 10 is perfection. So 9 is pretty damn good.

    Ease of Use:
Needs a PC interface. Then a 9. Screen res is too low.

    Support:
They surf the main forum available through alesis.com so that's pretty good. the newer OSs are needed so make that the first thing you do when you get it. Hollow Sun sounds are free and are done very well.

    Overall:
When you factor in price any other choice is silly.
