Sound:
Excellent accurate monitors! all the people writing bad reviews are clueless. i especially like the review where he states quote when i play an audio cd on these they sound terrible... Monitors are flat freuqency meaning they dont color the sound .. When you mix down on a daw.. set your sound card bass and treble to 50 percent then you can achieve a accurate mix on any playback device..... Killer monitors period

"Too much bass, not enough treble"
Sound:These monitors look the part but be warned. There is very little top end and too much bottom end on these speakers. I have just finished mixing some recordings, and all of them came out with far too much treble, because of over compensation due to the speakers. Im not saying they are unusable, but you would want to have a good graphic EQ adjusted to get the most out of these speakers if you are going to use them in a home studio recording environment.

"GREAT BUY! Read full review about comparison to earlier Monitor One speakers!"
Feature:only one way to hook-up speakers, no other options
Quality:
i miss the textured material of the original Monitor Ones, but the quality of these looks good. I would imagine they've cut cost corners somewhat to increase profits, but hopefully it won't be anything that effects the longevity of the product. Looks good so far, so I'm giving them a 10. These do feel just a bit lighter than their predecessors
Value:
AWESOME VALUE!!! THE BEST!!!
Desirability:
REALLY NICE LOOKING MONITORS
Sound:
if you are familiar with the original Monitor One's, these have a much deeper low end response. Putting them side-by-side with the previous version, I noticed extremely well-defined low end! Great news! I also noticed a drop in the mid-range response.... a bit of a trade-off. If you're mixing modern music, these are great because of the bass response. If you're mixing classical or instrumental music, you'd be better off keeping your original monitor ones or considering other passives.
Support:
Never used their support
Overall:
You really can't go wrong with these monitors!! They're well defined low-end is quite nice. Compared to their earlier Monitor One version, they are not as well defined in the mid-range (due to their much deeper low-end coverage). So, keep this in mind when you're mixing and possibly trade-off with some other flat monitors with well-defined midranges to get a sure understanding, but OVERALL, they really are a GREAT BUY!!!
