"Good Machine for the money"
Feature:No accessories just A/C plug. Wish it cam with the pedal's or charge little more for the machine to get the pedals.
Quality:
Made well, just a good machine all the way around.
Value:
Give it a TEN if it came with on/off switch and A/B/Fill switch.
Desirability:
Need a back light in this machine........A MUST
Sound:
The sound quality is good and can get alot of sound from this DR.
Ease of Use:
If you never had a Drum Mchine it will take little time to work this machine and YES you will need a book with this machine don't let anyone tell you that you don't need the book.

"ALESIS ADATS NUMBER ONE..SR16 TAKES A NUMBER TWO !"
Overall:MY SATISFACTION W/PROD LASTED ABOUT 2HRS.MOST SOUNDS WERE LESS THAN REALISTIC. DEVICE WAS EASY TO USE. SEEMED WELL ENOUGH BUILT,DECENT LOOKS. RESPONSE ON PADS GOOD...BUT WHEN I CUED UP A TRACK I HAD LAID USING THE BOSS 770 AND TRIED TO MATCH UP THE ALESIS TO THE 95 BEATS...NO COULD DO! UPON FURTHER INSPECTION, USING A STOP WATCH I FOUND THE SR16 AS A STAND ALONE (NOT W/ MIDI) TIMING DEVICE..NO GOOD. SECOND UNIT SAME PROBLEM. WHADAYA WANT FOR 150 BUCKS ?! FOR THE MONEY (SORRY ALESIS, I LOVE YOUR PRO GEAR,LOVE MY ADATS!!) THE BOSS 770 REMAINS KING OF THE HILL. IT PASSES THE STOP WATCH TEST.

"If you are serious about recording, you'll deffinently get this."
Feature:I basicly enjoy using this for work and for fun, the most usefull features it has is basicly its self. You deffinently need to get this. Its so much for such a great price.
Quality:
I love this machine, ofcorese its made well. Everything about it is basicly, a dream for musicions of all kinds.
Value:
Wow! I did'nt even think you could get these with such power for such a low price.
Desirability:
This this is just like (kabling) when you first see it, every time you see it...it amazes you.
Sound:
I love the sound that this unit pumps out. If you are into recording and need a machine for percusion perposes, which I'm pretty sure you do,Well you need this. I have had others before this one. and believe me its what you want. It has absolutly no distortion, or static, what you want, it has.
Support:
This machine is amazing, I hav'nt had anything to do with the company before, I'm just so busy having a good time with this tool, that I dont even pay attention to the company.
Overall:
Well Digital percusion is deffenently going to be up to date, untill (digital) is out of style, I'll be using this puppy.

"I like it!"
Overall:A couple of weeks ago, I purchased a Boss DR-770 but then I read about the Alesis SR16 and decided that the SR16 with the fill button/footswitch is what I needed so I am selling the DR-770 and just bought a SR16 today. It just came in the mail so I plan on spending hours with it and hope to be using it soon for my acoustic duo. I have a friend who has used his weekly since the early 90's and still works great and makes his music sound great! He has gigs all over the US with the SR16!

"sr-16 an extreamly good recording unit with life like sounds"
Feature:you can program every aspect of the sr-16 from drum notes to off beat pattens to sucession assignments
Quality:
after hours on hours of programming it still works like new.
Value:
it seems as if they want almost nothing for the price, like theyer giving it away.
Desirability:
i will be using this machine for a long time.
Sound:
this machine needs little eq adjustment to sound like a studio quality machine, the hall snare is exellent
Support:
the hand book is very intuitive and easy to follow.
Overall:
just make sure you have the updated model it has extra kits and sounds , more memory.
