    "Great Value!"

    Feature:
It has all the features you could want from a 100W combo

    Quality:
I'm never worried that this amp won't perform, though the 0db imput jack is worn out and doesnt work on mine, the -15db works when the passive is being tempermental. The imput jack doesnt work only because of many many years of use and being tugged on and pulled at way too much, deff. not Ampegs fault, it just needs a little sodering.

    Value:
Excelent value, if anyone was looking for an excelent combo, I would DEFFINATLY suggest this.

    Desirability:
I think it's a sexy amp, aestheticly it's got that Ampeg look, that vintage look, I love it.

    Sound:
Excelent tone, this amp can generate any tone you want. You want your tone warm and enveloping, it can do it, if you want your tone to be harsh, it can do it, if your looking for some punch to your sound, this amp can do it. Ampeg did an EXCELENT job with this amp.

    Support:
I dont have any experiance with Ampeg cust. support. To tell the truth I bet it sucks because not many people have to call in complaints.

    Overall:
I don't have any problems with this product, I absolutly love it. I'm planning on buying a full stack(I'm hoping Ampeg)but I still plan on using this amp for practice, jam sessions, and smaller clubs.

"long time player finds long term commitment."

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
it has all it needs to get a great sound. the amp and speaker seem to be a perfect match.

    Quality:
solid!!! built like a rock and sounds like it.

    Value:
if you have $580 to spend on a bass amp....this is the one. i chose this one over the B200R because of the much better and consistent reviews it got.

    Desirability:
this thing is waaay cooool!! as a long time veteran player i have to say this is one of the coolest machines i have in my arsenal.

    Sound:
i have lots of bass rigs. the ampeg B100 Rocket is a great combo. the sound is warm and full with a great bottom kick to it. sounds great with a blues band and easily cuts through an unmiked drum kit and a fender delux. great punch and clarity.

    Ease of Use:
it didn't take long to figure it out. you do have to turn the gain up almost all the way and then adjust your volume with the main . also...i found i liked my sound by using theultamid cut . the ultra bass is deep and full but i like my sound better by adjusting the bass control up about three notches. i think it is cleaner than the ultra bass. but there are lots of sounds there for your preference.

    Support:
i don't know yet...i want to call ampeg about finding some casters for it.

    Overall:
hopefully this will cure my bad case of IAD [ instrument aquistion disease] for a while. i'm definately in love right now.

    "Nice sounding little combo."

    Value:
    Best $400 I've spent.

    Sound:
The Ampeg B-100R is a great little combo amp. Excellent old-school vibe. Warm almost tube like sound. Good choice for smaller venues.

    Support:
Have not had to use support.
