""Surf's up"?"

Sound:

Very "surfy"! Reverb is all you need to bring you back to the 60's. The P-90's hold up well, but a pickup swap at some time can bring out more of the snap.

Feature:

Basic vol & tone knobs work well. Tone knob gets a little dark when rolled back. The 3 way toggle brings out the character of the pickups. Comes with 3 allen whenches, whammy bar and cord

Ease of Use:

Plug and play....almost. A good is set-up is critical here.

Quality:

Frets are rough at places, whammy bar stiff out the box, and action high. These are easy fixes when you know how to do it.

Manufacturer Support:

This guitar is simple, so work to be done will be easy if needed. They are through a distributor in California, but any good tech will be able to tweak your "surfy" to it's best.

Value:

Compared to other like "types" of this style of guitar, this is a great deal. With a little work it shines. The "candy apple" color is the best!

The Wow Factor:

You looking for surf? Get it, it's an added piece of your arsenal that your glad you have it.

Overall:

This is a extra guitar to be used when it's called for. If I lost it, I would be looking for another. Great job with this one!
