"D6 Awesome"

Desirability:
I wish I got the cool nickel D6 before they went out of stock in Dec '05

Sound:
I usually use this mic on my floor tom (I have an ATae2500 & 4047 on kick). It is deep and powerful sounding. I've tried it on my bass (mesa boogie into ampeg cabinets) I liked it, but not as much as the AT4047. I fear that I'll need to get another because the kick sound is perfect for modern rock. Plenty of cool click sounds with menacing low end strength. If your on the fence- just do it. This is great mic!
