    "VERY Smooth..."

    Feature:
The groove tube 12ax7 is resposible for much of this units warmth and response. The thick chasis is priceless for gigging, I watched my buddies rack get dropped off a 3 foot stage and the preamp went unharmed.

    Quality:
    Spectaculer

    Value:
Can't be beat for the cash. Infact, you could even end up spending more and getting less with anything else.

    Desirability:
    Love the knobs.

    Sound:
The tonage this thing pulls off is unbelievable for the price you pay. I know people who have spent almost twice this much and just ended up frustrated and flustered at their tone. Regardless of your experience level or your purpose for this preamp, you cannot go wrong with this unit, period.

    Support:
I haven't seen one break, or heard of one break yet.

    Overall:
I suspect this preamp will never loose its luster, phat knobs and even phatter tone... what more could a bassist ask for for under $600?
