"Best pedal in the chain"
Feature:There is only 2 features and that's the control over the low contour and how much the highs are processed. Crank the contour and you get bass punch, crank the process you get screaming highs and awesome crunch.
Quality:
BUILT LIKE A FRIGGEN TANK. Solid steel enclosing the actual parts and the knobs, footswitch, and input/ouput jacks are all metal
Value:
It improves your tone for $100 can't think of anything cheaper that does the job better.
Desirability:
It's sleek metal, chicks dig shiny things end of story.
Sound:
If you are looking to improve your tone on the cheap then you have come to the right place. This little baby will give you crunch, definition, screaming highs, gut buster lows, and any combination in between. One word of warning though, this pedal doesn't work as well on solid state amplifiers as it does on tube amplifiers. We hooked it up to my lead guitarists crate solid state and it improved the tone but not nearly as much as when I threw it in between me and my Modded Peavy Valveking 112 with a Celestion Vintage 30 loaded. It gives your tone a boost better than anything I've found to date and I've tried a few compressors/sustainers and nothing does it like this.
Ease of Use:
With only 2 knobs even someone who knows nothing about guitar could operate this piece of equipment.
Support:
Never had to deal with them
Overall:
If you want to turn that 200 dollar pawn shop tube amp into a screaming tone freak then this pedal is for you. I play a Peavy Valveking with Celestion V30 loaded as stated before and thats only a 500 setup and it turns that amp into a rawk beast. If it was lost I would buy 2 just to make sure. Buy it, nuf said.
