"Best Subwoofer you can buy for under $300, and its WAY under $300"

Feature:
i opted for this over the B1800x because the B1500x runs at 4 ohms 300w, and the B1800x runs at 8 ohms / 400w. so i get alot more for my money with the B1500x in terms of getting the most out of my amplifier. i power it with a Peavey PV-1500 amp, which is great as it has a 40hz low filter and 150hz high crossover on it. When both crossovers are engaged, the B1500x sounds like a $500 subwoofer. i highly recommend the combination, and will soon purchase another B1500x to run off the other side of my amp.

Quality:
i guess i prefer carpeted speaker cabinets because they show wear alot yes. you can't dent carpet. the pole mount seems strong and is a definite plus.

Value:
the fact that this subwoofer runs at 4ohms gives it alot more compared to other subs on the market. i only wish that the B1800x ran at 4ohms. This sub packs a ton of punch when crossed over correctly. Its on par more with the B-52 brand of subwoofers i beleive. great response and power handling effeciency.

Desirability:
it aint ugly.. i ripped off the plastic behringer logo tho, just because i dont like logos. the trapezoidal design is good and you can stack the 15" full range on top of it. it weighs alot less than i would expect for how powerful the output of the speaker is, i can carry it myself without hurting myself.

Sound:
for $180 you can't find a better subwoofer. period.

Overall:
i'm going to buy more and more of these subs. they are compact, i could fit 3 of them in the backseat of my Saturn. i think they have the absolute best cost/performance ratio out there, as Behringer products generally do.
