"Excellent for the price."

Feature:
Lot's of features. An amazing value at the price. Looks like they ripped off Genelecs design and cosmetic appearance. Selectable EQ, two amplifier, well thought out back panel. For the price point I give a 9. I don't like how the switches stick out from the back, but c'mon, I'm really nitpicking here...
Quality:
I'm really impressed with all Behringer products at their price points. Some are useable at a pro level, some aren't. These monitors could be used in a professional situation but I'd feel slightly uncomfortable with the accuracy. Everything might sound too flattered and never get fixed. As far as construction goes, they seem fairly sturdy. I haven't had a problem, but they sit in one place in my studio. No cosmetic blemishes but I'm not very anal about those things. I love the charts that show the matching frequency response of the pair.
Value:
These are the least expensive of the budget monitors and probably the best sounding. Lot's for your gear budget dollar. If you don't want to spend a couple of grand on "real" monitors I highly recommend these. If you get nervous about accuracy, spend the extra dough and buy Genelec, Meyer, etc.
Desirability:
The price. The sound. The specs. All add up to my having to buy a pair. I use them to double check mixes and on the studio TV. I also use some Circuit City 15" Technics home stereo speakers for that same purpose. I may use the Behringers for back speakers when I finally join the 21st century and mix in surround. Then again, I may get nervous and buy more Genelecs...
Sound:
These monitors sound great, but they tend to flatter the material which isn't that desirable in a studio monitor. For casual listening and budget studios there isn't any better alternatives, IMHO. My Genelecs (at $1500 more I might add) are more of an accurate tool for tracking and mixing. These are more than accurate enough for most home studios and high end stereo setups. Also, the high end is a little hot which is probably why they sound so flattering. I found the roll-off was too much and flat wasn't quite right. OTOH, if you spend the time to get used to them it may not be a problem. People have been mixing on those damned NS-10Ms for years and these sound WAY better than those.

Overall:
These aren't my main monitors, so I give them a high rating for excellent backup speakers. I wouldn't give up the Genelecs for them, but I'd use them with a client if the Genelecs quit on me. Unbelievable for the price, a step below "real" monitors if you disregard the low price. But it's actually very close. If price is an issue, jump on these!
