Feature:
Controls on the back panel provide the ability to set the sensitivity, to tailor the sound to the acoustic environment, and the option to turn off the amp when there is no signal. There are unbalanced quarter-inch as well as balanced XLR input jacks.

Quality:
I have used these speakers for seven years without any problems. Though they are designed for control room environments, I use them as portable monitors and PA speakers, using some custom vinyl cases to protect them from bumps and scrapes, and special plates to mount them on standard speaker stands. I built some crude angle brackets so I can use them as floor monitors.

Value:
Price is a primary consideration for me. I have several pieces of Behringer gear, which I bought because the value of their products is difficult to beat. The best equipment for the price, bar none.

Desirability:
The appearance is clean and professional. The speakers are designed for control room use and have no grill covers that might interfere with the sound. I use them with some simple grill cloth covers held on with velcro, to protect them when I move them from place to place.

Sound:
These monitors have a bright, clear sound with good bass. I've used them outdoors as welll as in several indoor environments, and they sound great, especially with the ability to adjust their frequency response to match the acoustic environment, using controls on the back panel. Adding the matching B2082A subwoofer, which is an amazing speaker itself, provides powerful bass and creates sound than cannot be beat for twice the price.

Ease of Use:
These speakers can be used with standard mixers or devices designed to feed balanced or unbalanced line-level signals. The manual is typival of Behringer -- clear and well-written, with good diagrams.

Support:
I have not had to contact tech suppot, but I have uses the Behringer web site for technical information. The support is professional.

Overall:
I am a fan of Behringer. I liked the Truth monitors when I compared their specs and price. I fell in love with them after I listened to them. Their sound is clean, rich and powerful.

Feature:
Thanks for the power cords. Can tweak these speakers to ballance any size, shape or room accoustic conditions. Beringer really went the "extra mile" on these boxes.

Quality:
I had my JBL 4408's for 15 years. If I use these for 5 years, I will have got 400% more my money's worth. Why would any one take these babies out of their studio working environment? There's no protective grills or feet. IMO, these should only be used in the studio/home studio midfield. Nor would I wear sandles in the snow.

Value:
"is this product worth its typical selling price compared to other items?" Far more. I don't know how they did it. See under "Quality"

Desirability:
Of-course I want them. They're sexy. They quiver when I place my hands on them. But, lets not go there.

Sound:
"Does the product help you achieve the sound you are looking to get?" Greatly. "Do you have any tips to make this product sound better?" None. Is it compatible with your musical style?" Very. I've been saving for the Mackies. $1,299.00. I used the remaining $800.00+ to take my girlfriend for a weekend at the Bahamas.

Value:
i tried them out against 2 mackies that were $1000 a piece and it blew them away because you can spefically tune these speakers to the natural acoustics in the room. It's all about fine tuning when it comes to mixing and it's good to know you're not missing anything.

Desirability:
freaking beautiful; my girlfriend is jealous!

Sound:
sound quality is disgusting how good it is! You can tell these engineers put months into this model.

"RF interferance has been reported by some owners, BEHRINGER USA has confirmed it. Provided some fixes."

Sound:
I am choosing 8 for all at the moment because I did call behringer to find out about the RF interferance that has been reported in some of these reviews (called US #). I have to worry about it because I do live in NYC. They did confirm that reports of RF interferance have come in. They suggested repositioning the speakers, hooking them up to a conditioned power source with a proper ground. I am going to give it a shot and will be back later to let you all know if I RF interferance or not.
