"'Tickled Pink!'"
This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.
Sound:
Just bought a pair of these and am tickled pink with the sound. Very flat, no color added. These will play back whatever you send them. Very crisp and clear with nice 'no-mud' lows. I bought these without hearing them first and, as I said, I'm tickled pink.
Feature:
Cabinets are very solid and LIGHT! I bought these because as a '50 something' rocker and I was getting really tired of transporting and lifting 100 lb. speakers. I can carry and put these on a stand by myself easily. The design of the cabinet is very well done. Really pushes all sounds forward.
Ease of Use:
1/4" plug or Speakons, whichever you prefer. No brainer.
Quality:
I looked these speakers over very carefully and can find no fault in the construction anywhere. With the money I have invested in equipment, I handle all my stuff with care. Have no worries that these will handle gigging easily.
Manufacturer Support:
I own numerous pieces of Behringer equipment and have only had one issue with an equalizer, and it was really quite minor. Behringer paid to have it shipped to one of their repair facilities (private contractor) and the contractor dropped the ball. I called back Behringer regarding the issue, and they simply sent me a new one. They seem to be having a slight issue with parts distribution at the moment but I'm confident they'll get it under control. Not the best, not the worst. I can't really complain.
Value:
Great bang for the buck and I bought while Same Day Music had a 'sale' which included free shipping AND a set of On-Stage stands that I just love. My days of breaking my back are OVER!
The Wow Factor:
These speakers look great sitting on a pole. You can tell they are the latest design in PA speakers. The design of these is outstanding.
Overall:
I've used my last set of Sonic speakers for 14 years. I intend to use these for years to come. Well, ok, as long as I decide to keep gigging. I can't imagine what I would want to replace them with. I use these with a single 18" front loaded Behringer sub and the matchup is great. I just received these and have tested them out and am super confident that they will do just fine out gigging but if they don't, I'll certainly post another review. Know your speakers, know your power amps, eq's and how to run the stuff properly and I'm sure you'll be 'tickled pink' also.
