"If you want sex appeal, buy a BMW, if you want good sound buy a B-300."
This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.
Sound:
The sound is very good considering it can be EQ'd to your taste. I own four (4) of the B-300's in my sound ministry. Two as mains and two as monitors. Fast set up,quick and easy to operate. Very good sound dispursion from the tweeter, clear and crisp. Overall, great bang for the bucks. Pastor Walt
Feature:
The only accessories that are included is a power cord. It would be nice if Behringer offered a package deal with rolling soft cases for each unit to both protect and make it easier to move around. They are quite heavy at arround 80 lbs. ea.
Quality:
Yes, I think the B-300 is constructed very well. I lost a tweeter in one unit reciently due to a power spike but have since purchased a Variac voltage regulator for approx. $100. and hooked it from the power sorce to the power inputs on the speakers and the problem is solved. The Variac also filters out all noise in the lines as well as all variations in power input and output.
Manufacturer Support:
Yes, when my tweeter went out, I call Behringer USA and spoke to the head person who handles all repair problems on the B-300's. He was very informative and gave me the name of a certified audio repair specialist in my area to repair my B-300 under warrantee. Service was great. You will need the original sales slip photocopy and Behringer will email you the Return Authorization form and number. It that simple.
Value:
Yes, very much so. I have found that the Behringer products are priced at a level affordable to most people. Great "Bang for the Buck".
The Wow Factor:
I'm not sure how to answer this question. Sex appeal is not in my formula of evaluation for this product. I am a pastor, not a sex theropist. I believe this is not an issue, It does what I bought it for, nothing more, nothing less.
Overall:
When they stop working.
