"WORKS PERFECTLY FOR ME, WHY ALL THE BASHING??"

Feature:
for the price, i havent seen another product with as many features. The high-speed USB, midi, and additional audio outputs sold me on this. It has the flexibility to handle my recording needs.

Quality:
Some of the knobs feel a little cheap, but so far so good. i have a behringer mixer with the same cheap feel, that has lasted me years. So i wont judge to harshly on that. overall it feels ok. like another reviewer, i added some rubber feet to the bottom, and it sits rock-solid on my desk. its a lil bigger than u might think from the pictures, however. Seems like decent quality.

Value:
GREAT value for the money IMO. Like i said, I havent seen anything in this price range with as many features.

Desirability:
IMO this thing looks pretty cool. Nothing spectacular, but it looks good in my setup. The overall combination of looks / design / features is good.

Sound:
Sounds great. Im a producer that mainly uses hardware. And i use the bca2000 to track my music into separate tracks, and take it and my laptop to the studio to lay down the songs that I cant import directly into the studios computer. Anyway, I cant tell the sound difference between that, and taking all my hardware to the studio and laying my tracks. So IMO the sound is fine.

Support:
Giving a 5, because I havent needed to contact support. So i cant really say either way.

Overall:
I expect to use this for quite a while, until money gets good, and i can upgrade to a rediculous setup. But it handles all my needs, and keeps me from lugging hardware to the studio. So I will be using this for quite a while. Makes a nice portable package with my laptop. Again, I know 3 other people personally that have this, and never have had any of the problems some of the other reviewers had. Works great, GREAT PRODUCT!!

"Awesome Interface - driver assistance"

Feature:
Loaded to the hilt. I chose this over M-audio and Tascam because it has more bang for your buck. All kinds of inputs/outputs, really versatile.

Quality:
My favorite two German things: Behringer and Ramms+ein, this thing is built like a tank.

Value:
Awesome value - cheaper than Tascam and M-audio with more features

Sound:
The sound is really good, i get a very occasional error while recording, but nothing you can't work with.

Support:
I did e-mail them, asking them about software. I wanted to know what they recommended. They responded in less than 24 hours, and answered my question. I give them a 7 because they really should update the drivers again, it would be nice.

Overall:
This is a really nice interface. If you put some effort into installing the driver, (look at my guide) things will be fine. Don't be discouraged by the other reviews. If this was stolen i'd have to get another one.

Desirability:
Compared to other recording devices as low as you can go. Compared to the flu? '2'

Sound:
The drivers/interface/software is PATHETIC! They provide 'XP drivers' that aren't certified. I first loaded the ones from the provided CD. They didn't work, so I figured I'd see if they updated them on their site. I downloaded the updated ones from their site. Before the download they state that their drivers aren't certified and might crash your computer. So, I took a chance, backed up my system and downloaded... It sort of worked afterwards, but the console was cockeyed (the buttons and text were out of place). I've never see such a bassackward set of drivers and software even the jerry-rigged DOS to Windows stuff that I worked on about 10 years ago was vastly superior to the 'pure-T-S***' that Behringer supplied with this jewel. The only reason I give it a '2' (and it is a gift) is that there may concieveably be a worse piece of junk out there (though I've not seen it).

Support:
I'd say providing unusable software/drivers qualifies as poor support.

Overall:
I'm replacing it immediately! Don't buy one! (unless you're a really mean person, in which case you deserve one)
