"A great looking amp with a full, versatile frequency responce and tone with extremely heavy duty construction. MAJOR BANG FOR YO"
Feature:
It's an extremely well made cabinet. The speakers are great with extended frequency range with 16 ohm mono or 2x8 ohm stereo operation and it doesn't have the old school s****y cloth grill. It is a very heavy guage steel mesh grill that looks great. In fact, it looks just as beautiful as it sounds! Weighing in at 104 lbs. with construction methods used by true carpenters. It is constructed with top notch hardware and materials. Die cast metal handles, heavy guage grill, black vinyl textured covering, high quality removable casters, chromed steel corners, rubber feet for stacking and a really great looking metal template on the grill with the Behringer name and logo. This thing not only sounds terrific but it looks terrific. On top of all this it handles 400 watts RMS so you've got plenty of headroom so you don't have to worry about frying the thing even with the highest wattage heads.
Quality:
It's built like an f'ing tank! I read some reviews about the first production line of these cabs not being to sturdy but the ones out now are unbelievably solid. I'd even wager they are the toughest cabs on the market right now and if not THE toughest, they are definitely in the top 5. As I mentioned the initial sound wasn't quite what I expected but still very good. After a week of breaking the speakers in who could ask for anything more!? The sound is fanominal and very versatile. These cabinets will mesh well with any music or playing style and I couldn't be happier. An extremely loud cabinet while maintaning clarity and not distorting.
Value:
A great value! I'll buy the bottom cabinet and with my first cabinet combined I'll be playing through 12 12's.
Desirability:
Even if it sounded like shit which it doesn't whatsoever, its appearance is very nice. Great item to have up front in a music store show room or window.
Sound:
When I initally hooked the cabinet up I was very happy but after a week of playing I was exstatic! The highs were initially very loud, almost overbearing but easily compensated for by reducing my heads treble setting. The bass wasn't quite what I expected at first and also because of the reviews but after a week of breaking the speakers in, the bass easily tripled and the highs seemed to melow for a much more balanced sound. The mids were perfect and like I say, after a week of breaking the speakers in you couldn't ask for a better sounding cabinet whether you take price into account or not. The sound is extremely balanced making this cabinet suitable for any playing style be it Metal, blues, jazz or even acoustic guitar. In fact it shines with acoustic vibrance with its extended treble range. I initially wasn't completely happy with the sound but after breaking the speakers in as I mentioned, I could not be happier. This cabint is great for all styles of music which I happen to play but really shines for metal with its extended highs and powerful bass that remains clear and undistorted.
Support:
Don't know yet but theres a one year warranty on the cabinet and two years on the electronics/speakers. Only drawback is having to send it to Germany for service.
Overall:
It looks awsome, it sounds awsome and I am very satisfied. If anything happened to it I would spend the b***load of cash to send it in for warranty but being it weighs so much it might be cheaper or around the same cost to buy a new one. WHich I would! This cabinet is great for stage, studio and home.
