"Don't be a name dropping, status symbol seeking, chump who thinks paying $600 for a Marshall cab will make you good. Buy Behrin"

    Feature:
It has everything any guitar cabinet has. And it is built rock solid. I'm giving it a ten because the top speakers are angled out, which is a cool little feature.

    Quality:
    Rock solid construction.

    Value:
$250 for a 4 x 12? That is an easy impulse purschase. Even if you own a Marshall, having another cab just opens up your musical frontiers.

    Desirability:
The sex appeal that most amateur guitarists give to Behringer products is low. This is a mistake. Inexpensive doesn't necassarily equate with inferior. When I'm on stage I'm not worrying whether my gear looks sexy to another guy. The only person I want to think my cabinet is sexy is that hot blonde in the first row. And she has never heard of Mesa or Marshall or Fender or Behringer. It is all the same to her.

    Sound:
The sound is what it is. Marshall's have their sounds, and Mesa's have a different sound. None is better or worse. Too many amateur guitarists think they have to have a famous player's gear to be "good". BS. Eddie Van Halen took a no-name company like Kramer and made them into a giant. Eddie created, he didn't duplicate or regurgitate. Eddie always said he took the cheapest piece of garbage and made beautiful music from it. That is talent. A Marshall won't make you sound good if you don't have any musical talent. Another reviewer said Behringer is crap because the name doesn't have mystique. More BS. The hot chick in the front row doesn't know the difference between a Marshall and a Behringer. I'm not one who is impressed by name dropping or status symbols. I'll play a Casio, just like Van Halen, and make it sound great.

    Support:
I've never used support for Behringer, but the fact is you can only get Behringer products thru the internet. Behringer stuff is so inexpensive brick and mortar music stores won't stock it. Therefore if you have a problem you're going to have to ship it somewhere.

"The BG412S is the best cabinet on the market - the Jensen speakers really seal the deal!"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
Considering it's four speakers and a box to hold them, it DOES have a feature - the top two speakers are angled away from each other to accentuate any stereo effect coming from the amp. Can be operated in Stereo or Mono mode. Everything is diagrammed perfectly and can be readily understood in about 30 seconds.

    Quality:
Construction is very hardy, castors don't lock up like other cheaper cabinets, Jensen speakers are AMAZING, everything is top-notch.

    Value:
This cab is comparable to those that cost four or five times as much. Yes, it can be directly compared with a 1960a Marshall. I think it's better - it's a matter of taste. But for its price, it's an absolute steal.

    Desirability:
It manages to both function and appeal to the eye at the same time.

    Sound:
The BG412S has an incredibly tight bass response - no muddiness at ALL. The sound with the Jensens is, predictably, wonderful. Creamy and thick, it only sounds better the louder it gets. Amazing sound.

    "Not for METAL?!!??! BALONEY!!!!"

    Feature:
The only thing I didn't like about the cab was the plastic handles. Easily replaced though, and I still saved $350 from buying a marshall or another johnson cab I couldn't find.

    Quality:
gave an 8 Just cuz o' the plastic...

    Value:
an easy 10. with a product like this on the market, the only reason to get a more expensive cab is for the looks of the name onstage...

    Desirability:
It looks great onstage, big black cab with a metal grill...says skullcrusher all over it...

    Sound:
I play in a Metal Band, and although other reveiws stated this cab not good for metal, I have no Idea where they came up with that...I use a JM250H running stereo through it and it sounds absolutly BRUTAL. I have NO PROBLEM at all getting this cab to handle some thunderous low end,and the highs are peirceing beyond belief. Using any of the Marshall or Mesa modules really makes this thing scream bloody metal murder. It can handle super distortion settings very well, and Ive never had a muddy tone with it. The stereo image is fantastic. Grab one, you won't be dissapointed at all.

    Support:
Behringer gives some of the best customer support Ive ever dealt with.

    Feature:
really the only accessories are the casters and handles....but they work great.

    Quality:
the cab is made very solid....casters roll very easily...handles are very sturdy...it weighs about 100 lbs, but I can lug it around by myself with no problem...it is very easy to handle

    Value:
this is absolutley the best deal you will find....cheap cab with amazing sound

    Desirability:
not sure about sex appeal...it does have a nice look to it

    Sound:
the sound on this thing is amazing....good highs, mids and bass. I run a marshall g100rcd through it and it sounds freakin awesome.

"Wah wah wah stop crying about the casters! Get real!"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
    Very heavy.

    Quality:
Only an 8 because the adhesive for the outside covering material is starting to make them peel off in the heat....BTW everyone stop F'in crying about 'the casters suck'...the cabinet is 310 dollars shipped to your door lazy asses! Get some muscles to move around the cab, I have no issues, yes they stick a bit, but come on...some 4x12s don't even include wheels...

    Value:
    Again, over 10 if possible!

    Desirability:
Worth it if you need a 4x12 and are stapped for cash

    Sound:
It takes a lot of wattage to attain speaker distortion because it is a hi-watt cabinet

    Support:
I would give them above 10 if possible they have answered EVERY SINGLE ONE of my Q's when I email them.

    Overall:
I recommend this cabinet, that should suffice and if musicians recommend products, it is just as good as mass advertising.

it's a good idea to replace the hardware holding the back on. $1.00 for a pack of screws, i'd rather pay $1 more then paying 100s or 1000s on other cabs.

    "Could have been built better"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
I like the stereo feature. If you have a stereo pre-amp and stereo amp, this thing can really fill a room with the sound.

    Quality:
Okay, NOT INCLUDING THE CASTERS, I took the grill off the minute I unpacked it and found some funkiness. This cab is particle board, so I know it's not going to last too long, especially in humid weather. The vinal on the outside rips very easy. The screws that hold the grill on are of course screwed in the cheap particle board, and were already loose, because the board was stripped out (not good because I won't be able to fix my grill rattle easily). INSIDE the cab, there are supports - little blocks of wood that are supposed to provide added support. The bad thing is, they are only GLUED on. No screws. I have had it less than a week, and one has just falled off. I had to take the handle off one side to get it out, so it wouldn't rattle. The particle board, again, is pretty flimsy, and with the majority of the cabinet just GLUED together, I don't expect it to last that long, especially on the road. Under the speaker grill, the glue that was used to seal it was put on by what looks like a 5th grader. It's smeared, etc. Bad quality craftsmanship. BUT the good news is, they painted over it, so it's hard to see, from the audience at least. One more issue I have - They switched speakers, and now use Bugera. I still like them, but know very little about them. They 'claim' the cab handles 400 watts, witch is a flat out lie. PULL a speaker out and you'll see that the speakers are rated 75 W each, and do the math. 4 X 75 is 300 Watts, NOT 400. I don't like false advertisement just to get someone to buy. Despite all that, however, I am very impressed with the sound. But it WAS only ~$200

    Value:
    Value/price ratio, very good.

    Desirability:
It does look cool. I just really wanted the speakers with the gray rim, like in the pic, and they don't come like that anymore.

    Sound:
This cab sounds pretty good, I have to admit. It is nice and loud when you want it to be, but still sounds great at lower volumes. It has a nice frequency rance, but mine rattles a tad bit during palm-mutes. I think one speaker wasn't screwed tight enough, but that's an easy fix. Nice highs, mids, and lows.

    Ease of Use:
Plug in, switch the switch, and play... very simple.

    Support:
I had to deal with Behringer ONE time, about the VAMP Pro, and the gentleman that assisted me went out of his to to find the info I needed. Very helpful. I hope their service dept is always like that.

    Overall:
I will probably use it for about 1 year. I hope it will, but don't expect it to last much longer. I will not replace it with another one like it, but I bought it just because I wanted to try it out. I am pleased with it, and do not feel ripped off. It's very inexpensive.

    Quality:
Plastic. Cheap handles. Cheap wheels. Cheap box.

    Value:
Not worth the price. Even at half the price of a decent cab, it still isn't worth it.

    Desirability:
Not. The name doesn't bring any "mystique". They may be known for something in Europe, but I bet it isn't good sounding speaker cabinets.

    Sound:
Only sounds good if you are deaf. If possible, it sounds worse as it warms up. Only buy this if you are planning to torture terrorists holed up in a building.

    Support:
There is no way the company could solve my issue other than giving me my money back.

    Overall:
I kept it 4 hours. It went back to the store. Bing bang boom.
