"If you need an amp, buy this."

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
Ultrabass is really nice-if you need it. I generally don't like subharmonics but if you need it it works wondefully. The shape filter is SO beautiful. You can really push the sound out anyway you want. Deep and Bright buttons help make up for the lack of a full EQ.

    Quality:
Wow. Where did these guys come from? This is awesome. It's very strong, but also heavy (30lbs) Threw it down a flight of concrete stairs when I got it, didn't even show.

    Value:
Oh god, seeing what prices are being charged for amps with less power, this thing is great.

    Desirability:
It looks good, nice and plain. I don't want to let go of it.

    Sound:
It has a great range. Loud and can really fill the auditorium. 300 watts, actually a little low for bass, but for $200 it's the steal of the year.

    Support:
Havn't had to get support from them. Looks like language barrier may be a problem (my warranty card is in German)

    Overall:
    Very Good. Very Good.

"Ultrabass, from a punk bands point of veiw is the quintessential amp for sound and ultimate flexibility."

    Feature:
most useful features: ultrabass-is like nothing I've ever played shape-is a nice low end sound or even adjustable to a punch(better than Pevey) footswitch-is two pedals one for ultra bass and another for shape nice for gigs and long intros to songs, or just jazzing it up even for old punk songs like the clash, or the pistols. and reggae-this amp is superior. worthless features- none as of yet there is imense buety in its simplicity

    Quality:
i have only had it a month but spent months shopping for the perfect replacement to my pevey 300 combo with the black widow speaker up grade, it has a lot of power and I drive it hard it is still ice cold, there is a 3 inch electric fan that cools it in the back. I am confident it will last longer than it should for only 200 bucks.

    Value:
    200 bucks

    Desirability:
it is simple and compact it has one retro lighted limit gage on it but it could use another on the other end

    Sound:
the low end sound is excellent with a cabinent of 500 watts or better, be careful with low watt paper cone speakers while using the ultra-bass effect on the low strings. I purchased this amp with a hartke 400w cab with 4 10's, i played through a pevey 700w 4 10 cab at the store and the difference without the ultra bass was next to nothing... however with the feature running I realize I should have shelled out the extra 200 dollars for the 700w cab, so now i bought a hartke aluminum cone 1 15 cab to bottom out the stack, that works excellent. also the shape feture is superb, and the foot switch was a nice surprise when I got it home.

    Support:
never contacted company but they have lots of support info with the paper work for the amp

    Overall:
I could need a more powerful amp in a few years, but I would never trade it in, it is to cool.

    "sweet little unit!!"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
You can hook it up to any thing cause you got both 1/4 in. and quick connect outs on the back like I said great tone control and the level meter is a bonus!

    Quality:
So far no problems this head has very clean sound and a quiet power switch.

    Value:
If you get a cab that is comprable to your power handling this unit will preform beautiful for you.I use mine for shows with a hartky 4/10 cab and it pushes it great!

    Sound:
This head has great tone control you can tweak till your gitty! The foot switch is major bonus!

    Support:
    no problems yet!

    Overall:
To me more power is always better but for the price and the control you get you cant go wrong!

    Overall:
for the price..you really cant go wrong. this thing cranks!! it sounds better than most high end bass amps out there as well! when i plugged my hartke bass driver pedal through this thing with my 2 x 15" 500 watt hartke bass cab.....all i can say is WOW! this thing shakes the house down! i would suggest this head to anyone. even as a main player. it sounds better than most heads out there..so why not right? in this case..i guess you could say price really doesnt matter

"Nothing comes close in this price range"

    Feature:
This amp comes with some built in effects. The sub-harmonix processor is useless as far as I am concerned. This amp would be better as well if it had a 7-band eq instead of the 5.

    Quality:
    well built

    Value:
    Can't beat it for $199

    Desirability:
This amp is definitly gig-worthy. It looks good and sounds good.

    Sound:
For the money, the sound is awesome. You can work with it and get just about any kinda sound out of it you want.

    "GREAT!!!"

    Feature:
it didnt have much in the way of an eq

    Quality:
durable, it can take a beating, and still have great sound to it. no loose parts, no blemishes, i would easily depend on it. very good if consatnly on the road. the is no real problem with quality. it'll last as long as you live.

    Value:
300 watts for $200. its a great price.

    Desirability:
its just a plain amp. no special designs. i like the simplicity of it.

Ultrabass switch lets you keep a modest eq seting, but shakes the foundation. Shape function allows you to drastically change your sound quickly. The footswitch is a great extra.

    Sound:
Very Tight, Clear Sound. I'm trading in my Ampeg for one of these!
