"Budget stompbox compressor hugs your sound, but- be gentle with it!"
This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.
Feature:
Make its inputs and outputs stereo and dual mono- capable.
Quality:
It's passably well made, except for the knobs and the battery compartment's opening. The knobs are loose. It's a liitle light on relibility, as it doesn't always work in series with other pedals. I worry that the knobs and the battery compartment pegs will break, and i don't use it on the road when I have another product available (The Electro-Harmonix Soul Preacher, or my Behringer Autocom rack compressor). Its worst aspect is the looseness off the knobs, as they come off AND they wobble. It may last a few years if treated very gingerly. It'll scratch, but it keeps its appearance better than most metal-chassis fx. C
Desirability:
The only sex appeal about the product is its light weight, which keeps my pedalboard light.
Sound:
Make the knobs: sturdier (mine fell off the 1st time that I used it), quieter when turned, and larger.
Support:
I've dealt with Behringer for nearly ten years. They're easy to reach, friendly, and resolved my problem. I've had no experience under their warranty. I've needed repairs (broken knobs on other units than the reviewed item), due to mishandling and not due to a defect in the product. The cost of repairs is prohibitive, so I attempt a cheap fix or let it be.
Overall:
It's pretty cool overall, and I can afford as many pedals and backups that I want at this price!
