"Best deal I have ever had"

    Feature:
Behringer included features on this unit that pioneer left out and should've added. The treble/mid/bass kills to be specific. I think that this is a great 'practice' mixer so that when one does get to play a set in the club on a DJM series they will know how to operate it. Unfortunately the BPM meters are not that great, but look cool. It also doesn't have balanced (XLR) output, but I am also not hooking it up to a pro system, just for home fun.

    Quality:
Very well made, I read some where that worried me. I read that the cover plate was plastic, and if that was the case this mixer would've been sold or returned immediatly. But, no this mixer is built like a tank, although I wouldn't drop it off buildings, it does have a very sturdy, stable feel to it.

    Value:
nearly the same as the pioneer DJM with MORE features. This is an excelent value, I actually bought 2 online for $170 each!

    Desirability:
I personally like the silver vs. the pioneer black. and all the lights are kinda cool too. I said above that the BPM meters suck, and they do. But who uses that stuff anyways.

    Sound:
This unit does sound amazing, and just as any other lower price equipment there is distortion. But, distortion doesn't set in until about 90% volume (all gains almost maxed). I have never used a Pioneer DJM series mixer but, they must be a gift from heaven to be 'so much better' than the begringer equivalent. I love this thing!!

    Support:
I've been told and read that behringer is good with customer service, I haven't had a chance to experience it though.

    Overall:
The only way I would replace my DJX700 is if I could find a pioneer DJM series, new, for the same price. Even then the features on this mixer exceed that of the pioneer.

    "Get this mixer!!!"

    Feature:
The features are great and with practice can produce amazing crowd pleasing results

    Quality:
For the price it cant be beat. to compare this product to super high quality very pricey products is foolish. however, for the price it is great and far exceeds anything on the market in comprable price ranges.

    Value:
    A truly great value

    Desirability:
    This mixer is the bomb!

    Sound:
I have been the owner of this product for several months now and I am amazed at some of the poor reviews that I have read about this product. For anyone familiar with the art of djing this product is excellent. the sound is good particularly at high volume and the musical eq enhances my system. People should understand that it is only a part of a system and must have quality components to get a good sound out of any mixer. this product is excellent.

    Support:
Have not needed any. I can read and the manual and my experience allows me to work this mixer.

    Feature:
effects arnt bad , delay and echo are good when you know how to use them, just one downside , the eqs dont work that well at work , bit disapointed at that,

    Quality:
definatly quality, why people think its not a quality mixer bcause its not heavy i dont know, i mean do you prefer your quality women heavy?

    Value:
best mixer for the price , its the exact same as the pioneer without the name

    Desirability:
    quite sexy ,

    Sound:
cant really complain about the sound , clear enough

    Support:
    havent needed any yet

    Overall:
i usually keep my mixers for about a year or so, i have also read so many bad reviews on this mixer , my advice would be dont listen to them after all theres going to be bad reivews on every mixer, i agree the bpm counters dont work, but if your a dj why would you be using these, cross fader dosent leak , crossfade isnt instantly in whoever said this probly has the curve control set on sharp... buy this mixer it will improve your mixer

    Feature:
Nice features, great bang for the buck.

    Quality:
This product is very reliable and has NEVER failed or gotten broken.

    Value:
Great value, excellent price compares to those other pricy mixers...Pioneer, Peevy, and Numark.

    Desirability:
The color is awesome however a "black" model would have been cool.

    Sound:
The sound quality on this mixer is superb, no problems what so ever.

    Support:
I never need support because the manual is there.

    "worth the money."

    Feature:
i was looking for a mixer with a sampler but the ones i saw for around my price were crap, and only two chanels so i went for the monster!the efects ant all that i only use a hand full if i use them at all.

    Quality:
it's quality o.k.everything sounds smooth, no craks or sqeeks from the x fader yet.

    Value:
ok but when i upgrade i'm going to spend a bit more and go for something better and with a sampler!

    Desirability:
the thing looks nice in a half light with the EFX button on, but overall it looks good, it's just a shame i've got 1210's and not 1200's but i'm not complaining!

    Sound:
i use the mixer in a small room so it sounds good, recording takes a bit of time to get smooth but possible.

    Support:
    no problems.

"Behringer, don't say pro, because this product is far from it."

    Feature:
I was very dissapointed with the effects on this mixer. They sound really bad, and it is very hard to match them up with the channel to get the proper volume.

    Quality:
Ouch, this one really hurt this mixer, and what do you know, it's the most important thing about a mixer. This quality is terrible, I have owned this mixer for about 4 months now and one channel is almost all the way gone and two more are about to join it. It says it has 500,000 cycle faders, but this is a lie. Although I am pleased with the crossfader curve adjuster and the quality of the VCA crossfader. The effects should not be used seriously because they sound so BAD.

    Value:
Hey, I picked this up for $200.00 so I can't complain. I liked using this mixer until I realized a few things about it, and thought to myself, "I can do better than this."

    Desirability:
Looks pretty. But I can see past is nice interface to see the real horrors behind it.

    Sound:
The sound is just average, average at best. When I would record sets on my computer, it would have this annoying humm through out the mix. This noise made my mixes give me headaches when I (or any of my friends) would try to listen to them.

    Support:
From what I hear Behringer is pretty good with it's customers, but I personally wouldn't know.

    Overall:
I really feel that I didn't get "ripped-off". I enjoyed using this mixer, I liked the smooth cross-fader that it had. When comes down to: buy it or save up some more money, I would say.. GET IT. Especially if you are still unsure about Djing this mixer can give you some idea of what it feels like to be a pro. "Give yuou SOME idea", not the actual idea which can be obtained by using the real deal, a Pioneer DJM-600 (with a sampler, yay!). This product is strictly from Bedroom Dj's, I would cry if I saw this in a club.

    "fine mixer"

    Feature:
The EFX take a bit of time to master, but once that happens they open up a whole world of possibilities for the DJ.

    Quality:
This is a budget type mixer and needs to be handled with care.

    Value:
For the price it is a great buy.

    Sound:
The sound on this mixer is fine. It really rocks at high volume and the EQ is very musical. There is some slight distortion at maxed out volume, however, it performs well at high volume

    Support:
    N/A

    Overall:
Overall this mixer is great. I have read poor reviews of this product, however, I cannot understand why. One must have quality components to get a great sound out of a mixer, in addition it is a professional piece of sound equiptment. If you use a cheap amp or other bedroom DJ type stuff you will get hum, distortion and have many problems. Users of this product should have at least some idea of how to use pro sound components, know about grounding loops, and know how to condition their lines.

"Save your money for a better mixer."

    Feature:
It has lots of bang for the buck but do understand that you get what you pay for. They are able to offer alot of features for a cheap price by cutting the quality of the components.

    Quality:
I would rate this as a very poor quality mixer. I had to have all the input faders replaced while it was still under warranty and now that the warranty has expired, I have to have them replaced again. Also, the CUE /master mix is leaking some sound.

    Value:
It seems cheap but it is not as cheap when you simply have to replace it after a year and a half. My reccomendation is to save up more money and buy a better mixer. I wish I would have got the vestax pcv-275 mixer, it has much better build quality

    Sound:
Souns is okay for the bedroom DJ but you really notice how noisy this mixer is when you hook it up to a large PA system. It introduces alot oh high frequncy hiss into the audio path.

    Support:
I had to have warranty work done and it took along time to get my mixer back.

"IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A DECENT MIXER FOR A GREAT PRICE & FUN TO MIX WITH... GIVE IT A CHANCE."

    Feature:
I REALLY LIKE THE EFFECTS ON THE MIXER, ACTUALLY WAS ABOUT TO BY THE PIONEER FOR THE EFFECTS, BUT DECIDED LAST MINUTE TO GRAB THE BEHRINGER INSTEAD.

    Quality:
SEEMS A LITTLE FRAGILE TO ME. BUT IT'S ONLY BEEN A WEEK. BOUGHT A FLIGHT CASE TO KEEP IT FROM BEING DAMAGED. I'M WORRIED THAT THE LIGHT WEIGHT OF THE MIXER MAY BE THAT THE INTERNAL PARTS MAY BE CHEAP? DONT KNOW ABOUT USING IT ON THE ROAD? GOOD FOR MY HOME USE THOUGH. WE'LL JUST HAVE TO SEE HOW LONG IT WILL LAST?

    Value:
SUPRISED AT THE LOW SELLING PRICE!!!

    Desirability:
IT DOES HAVE A CERTAIN SEX APPEAL TO IT, I LOVE THE WAY IT LOOKS & FEELS. MY GIRLFRIEND GETS A LITTLE HORNY BY THE WAY I ADJUST THE KNOBS ON THE MIXER WHILE I'M SPINNING! (SERIOUSLY!!)

    Sound:
I'VE HAD THIS MIXER FOR ABOUT A WEEK, EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS GREAT SO FAR EXCEPT THE LOUD HUMMING SOUND. I WAS EXCITED TO TRY IT OUT AT MY CLUB, HOOKED IT UP & GOT NOTHING BUT A LOUD HUMM. ANOTHER DJ CAME IN WITH HIS BEHRINGER & TOLD ME HE HAS THE SAME PROBLEM. DONT KNOW IF I SHOULD RETURN IT OR TRY OUT THE ISOLATION TRANSFORMER & SEE IF THAT HELPS?

    Support:
I HAVENT TRIED TO REACH ANYONE YET BUT DID CALL AUDIO LINE WHERE I BOUGHT IT TO ASK IF THERE HAD BEEN ANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE HORRIBLE HUMMING SOUND IT MAKES. DONT KNOW IF YOU CAN FIX THE PROBLEM SINCE IT SEEMS THAT EVERYONE SO FAR HAS HAD THIS SAME PROBLEM?

    Overall:
THE MIXER IS GREAT & WOULD LOVE TO KEEP IT UNTIL I WEAR IT OUT, BUT NOT SURE IF I WILL KEEP IT UNLESS WE CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE HUMMING NOISE? I DID GOT TO THE STORE LOOKING TO BY THE PIONEER, BUT THE SALESMAN REFERRED ME TO THE CHEAPER VERSION OF A PIONEER. FOR THE PRICE, I HAD TO TAKE A CHANCE ON THE BEHRINGER.

the effects, great. i wish it had separate effect activators for each channel on the XFader. other than that, great.

    Quality:
great quality... the faders slide like butter. there's no stickiness at all.

    Value:
absolutely amazing price for a product that can be compared to pioneer and allen & Heath.

    Desirability:
this is definitely an awesome looking mixer as well. very well laid out.

    Sound:
the only thing i would do is include in the instructions that to use the effects, you must push the knob down before pressing the activation button.

    "Behringer.. SHAME ON YOU!!!"

    Feature:
This mixer is a 100% rip off of an industry standard so of course its gonna have a lot of features, but dont be fooled, the effects are nothing like the real thing.

    Quality:
This thing is junk. You get what you pay for. There is a reason why the Pioneer is almost $1000 and this is a $200. If your actually thinking of buying this do your self a favor. Open the window and throw your money out into the wind because thats exactly what you will be doing if you buy Behringer DJ products. Behringer should be ashamed of what they are doing to the DJ industry.. SHAME ON YOU BEHRINGER!! SHAME SHAME!!

    Value:
If it's too good to be true than it usually is.. Don't fall for the look. It might look like a Pioneer but its not even close.. DON'T BE FOOLED!!

    Desirability:
Of coarse it's gonna look hot because it's a rip off of the DJM-500. They get no credit for that.

    Sound:
This is a very thin sounding mixer. the EQ section is weak and the pots become noisy very quickly.

    Support:
I have tried to get in contact with them for help with their audio products and could not find their customer service or US distribution. It used to be Sam Ash or Samson but they said they dropped Behringer. Good move on their part.

    Overall:
You've been warned!! run from this brand..If you want cheap buy Gemini or stanton or numark..If you want good stuff buy Rane, Vestax or Pioneer. Spend your money wisely. Take my advice I have burned way too many times by junk..
