"Great for instruments and for EQ measurements"

Sound:
I use this for setting up a sound system and it worked fine. Then used it to mic some hand drums (tablas) and the tablist was amazed at the sound that came out of the mic. The tip is so small that you can bring the mic up close to where his hands are without interfering with the playing. Being so close to his hands and the head of the drums it picks up nuances in his playing that other mics with big heads couldn't pick up. The flat frequency curve brings out the true natural sound of the tablas too. Overall a great bang for your buck microphone.
