"A high powered mixer that is also light and easy to use."
Feature:
Lots of useful features, level set LEDs on each channel trim, and inset I/O jacks on all 8 mic channels. Surround control widen main left and right outputs, Prefader Listen lets you check a channel's level and channel EQ in the headphones. Nice long rows of dB level LEDs and smooth channel faders.
Quality:
Typical recent Behringer quality, you get your value for money, overall the unit is well made, mine was labeled the PMH3000 not the PMX3000 as advertised on Samedaymusic?
Value:
For $450 you get a lot for your money and the overall performance is professional level.
Desirability:
Behringer loaded a lot of features into this product and put a lot of thought into the fornt panel design.
Sound:
The main power amplifiers self noise is totally absent, you'll think the speakers are not connected until you start to drive them with some music! Low end frequency drive, cooling fans are quiet.
Mic channels are pretty well invisible when tested with condensor
mics.
Support:
I own a lot of Behringer gear, never had a failure, never tried to contact for service.
Overall:
I bought this unit as an investment for medium size gigs, it is quite light and easy to transport around. The unit has plenty of features for me to check the mix, can also use it as a live recording mixer without using the PA outputs.
