"No EFX turn off option via a footswitch input. + This mixer emits intermittent "white noise" via the EFX channel."
Feature:This mixer does not have an EFX footswitch jack. The only way to turn off the EFX is by having to turn the individual knob counter clock wise. And the EFX can not be killed via any switch or quick method.
Sound:
The first night on stage this mixes started emitting "white noise" interference intermittently via the effects channel. We had to get rid of this mixer pronto.
Support:
We wrote to tech support re: their omitting any practical option to turn off the EFX to get a "dry" mix for making announcements in between songs etc...and their response was that "this model does NOT have the capabilty of a single EFX kill via a footswitch opotion or button.
