"Behringer SX4882 looking mixer for the price. Sounds good too."
Sound:
Noy lacking in the sound. British equilizers, really gives you more, versatility, with the sound shaping.
Feature:
Every cahnnel and bus, has it's own meters. Channels 25-48 can be switched to monitor their outputs.
Ease of Use:
If you understand mixing consoles, this one is very easy.
Quality:
To heavy to move around @ 62 lbs, and 30 x 37"s, is not portable. It's all heavy plastic, on outside; that's not a problem, for me. I live on the East coast, box came from CA. The box was beat up, maybe water damage too. Mute LEDS, did not work for Ch's 17-24, and some other minor functions; peak & input LEDs. For the price I got it for; I ignored them for about 3 days; and looked for service manual, or schematic. I'm more qualified and expierenced, than these tech's around here; and it's too big, to send back, or take to a tech. So I opened it myself, (with help) and found 3 connectors, unplugged; near channels 17-24. Now it's perfect. According to the date, the mixer is 3 months old.
Manufacturer Support:
Registered by email. I searched for the MX9000, to get compatible schematic. Any company, that makes it's own stuff, and doesn't have parts, or service manuals, availiable to the users; will get a zero from me, on support. I don't need to talk, or the emails; just the parts & prices. But a "1"; is the lowest score, I can give here.
Value:
The product is more than worth it's price, when compared to others. Most others want about $1000, just for the meter panels alone. Which is rediculious, for comparators, resistors and 5 cent, LEDS.
The Wow Factor:
The amount of channels, LED bank, 4 channel equalizers and price; make it the best mixer for dollar, out there.
Overall:
This should be my last mixer, unless I open another room; I'd get another for that room.
