"Where's the Power Supply!!!"

Sound:

Excellent and very flexiable. It gets an instrument "dead on". If you know what note you want to tune to on anything and you can run it though an amp, it will tune it. I really works great on my Gibson 12 string, lute & banjo. I mike the latter two, and run them though my Beringher amp and watch the display in the chomomatic mode which displays the note being tuned. I had to do a little experimenting but it works. I lot of tuner for the money! The only problem that I had is finding the matching DC power supply because it eats batteries like most of the newer guitar devices. Find and get the Beringher Power Supply and then you will be in "hog heaven"!

Manufacturer Support:

Finding the matching POWER SUPPLY mentioned in the documentation!!!

Overall:

They should sell this item under 2 item #s, One without the power supply, and the other with the power supply included. That way, one can make a choice between the two, and make one order and not have to go on a wild goose chase finding the power supply. This small marketing change would make a great product even better!

"Great Pedal, Minor Flaws, but Does the Job"

Sound:

Well as far as "sound" goes for this pedal, it mutes. The line out makes it so you can mute your signal to the amp and tune in silence. And it works great. Totally silent. I run this pedal and after it an overdrive and a DI and it mutes everything.

Feature:

I WISH you could get an adapter with this pedal, but seeing as more and more people have pedal boards and such, having a bunch of adapters doesn't make any sense. The most useful feature on this pedal is the chromatic setting. You can tune anything that connects to it. I'm a bass player, and my low notes are read perfectly.

Ease of Use:

Just plug and play? You plug your instrument to the pedal and the pedal can plug into either another pedal or an amp. Click it on, and BAM. You're in tuning mode. There are no other tricks.

Quality:

Alright, here is where I take the points off. I will give you some CONS. One being, it's made out of plastic. Now, I have NO problem with this, but some people do. It's the main reason Behringer gets a bad rep. The second problem, well I consider this a problem, is that the LED is BRIGHT. I mean SUPER bright. It's a good feature for some, but they could dim a it a bit. Lastly, it does take a few seconds for it to read notes. Often I do say "hurry up". These problems are minor and the pedal is still a great unit to own.

Manufacturer Support:

Haven't had to use it, but I've heard it's good.

Value:

PERFECT price. The folks here at SameDay have a great price for the pedal and compared to the $99 for the boss which is basically the same thing with a metal casing, this pedal is top notch. I say if you're considering it, you probably will again and to just buy it now rather than being on stage thinking "I should have bought it".

The Wow Factor:

It's a good looking pedal. I mean graphite body, pots and such. I would want it in a heartbeat.

Overall:

This is a great pedal to own. It'll last a very long time. For something to help me tune, paying more than $40 is WAY too much, especially $99. Going for this pedal is a great idea.

Easy to use and accurate. Uses a standard 100mA 2MM jack with negative center for the power supply. Plug and play with my other pedals. Great value.

"Dont waste your money."

Sound:

POS......I bought it and used it for 2wks. Ate every battery I put into it in a matter of hrs. Input jack shorted out in 2wks. Body made of plastic and cheap construction. I have other Behringer equip that work great and has for years but tuners are not their thing.
