"The UCG102 works excellant for me with 3ms latency!!"

Sound:
After researching the more expensive interfaces I decided to try a cheapie first as it is transfering bits n bytes NOT real audio. The UCG102 works excellant for me. I am only using it to play/not record a commercial virtual amp pkg. and am getting a 3ms latency with no distortion!! I use a separate hard disk recorder for recording. This is an older dedicated music XP PC, 2.4GHz with only 1 gb of ram!! You have to use the Behringer ASIO driver with a dedicated usb port or the latency is pretty bad,around 10ms with ASIO4All.
Feature:
I didn't even try the included software as I don't need them, but have read they aren't anything to write home about.
Ease of Use:
Here's where it's drops a few points. The manual is useless. The driver took a while to get installed correct, but once you get it, it rocks!! Every software pkg. I tried found it immediately and worked flawlessly!!
Quality:
What can I say as it's plastic, but in a home studio it should last quite a while.
Manufacturer Support:
They answer their email within a day or so and if you call them they are very good about helping!! And best of all they are in the USA and speak the same English I do!!! ;-)
Value:
This is worth every bit of the selling price!!!
The Wow Factor:
It's got a sexy blue lite and the basic features that's necessary to get the job done! Who needs all the bells n' whistles that's what the PC software is for.
Overall:
I would replace it in a heartbeat!

Sound:
I don't care what you say about Behringer... yes... they used to suck... bad. Now they give some of the best stuff on the market a run for their money.
I use this for quick recording at home... The sound is at least as good as my Zoom H4 and the Audigy 2 that I have.
Feature:
The VST effects that were bundled with it were kind of disappointing. You have two that you can select, but are only allowed to activate one. I haven't found much need for it as I use Amplitube and the sounds are better in that package.
Ease of Use:
Plug in and go. I use a dual boot machine... Linux found it and used it immediately... on the Windows side, I had to install a driver, but compared to some of the other software interfaces I've had to deal with (Creative EMU and M-Audio's Duo/Quatro) this thing was a no brainer... extra points for how easy this thing is to use.
Quality:
It's Behringer... that's how they do what they do... I'm assuming that I'll step on this thing and break it. However I didn't buy it for it's durability... I bought it because I can throw it in a gig bag, and plug in anywhere... that and it was like $30... $30!!!!! How can you beat that?
Manufacturer Support:
I've never dealt with them... never had to... although I've owned at least two different Behringer amps and God knows how many of the effects... also a V-amp. I've never had an issue with them.
Value:
Did I mention $30???!!!???
Overall:
I have no complaints with this thing other than it won't sample as high as 96khz... It maxes out at 48k...
But I mentioned $30 right?

"Jamming only, no recording"

Okay, here's the deal: when I record then transfer the unit to audacity, the effects didn't record with the track I used. So now I have to go buy new software. UGH
Manufacturer Support:
I asked them about my problem, and they said it was made that way! THAT'S KIND OF LIKE FALSE ADVERTISING!!! Because the description said its made for recording.....UGH
Value:
WORST $35 I'VE EVER EVER EVER EVER SPENT!

Overall:
Don't be a fool like and buy this cheap USB garbage. If you want to record, go into a recording studio. BTW - Behringer bass & guitar pedals rock along with other products, but this one.....UUUUGGGHHH
