Feature:
Great features, I will never use the bass or the drum kits, but it was a cute addition. Cute, meaning cheesy. If you want it done right, do it yourself. Everything else it comes with is great. Some of the premade guitar effects are a little on the weak side, just make your own and save it to the user effects. I would recommend, just go buy your own single Boss effects if you are going to use any though. It's much more hands-on and easy that way. The amp modelling is cool. I just turn the effects and the amp modelling off normally though. The EQ is great, very moldable. I haven't got around to mastering any tracks yet, but I hear good things. Vocal effects are very good if you need any. Don't go buy a vocal effects box, this has all that you need. Copying a CD to the drive is a good feature. Lots of good stuff.

Quality:
Boss never ceases to amaze. End of story.

Value:
Definitely worth my money, I bought a refurbished and it looks like a brand new one. I am very happy with this product.

Desirability:
I wanted to hump it when it came in the door.

Sound:
Since it doesn't produce sound itself, it's only as good as the stuff you put into it. Also depends on what output you are using.

Overall:
Could be better obviously, but it's downfall won't hold you back one bit if you learn this machine through and through. Very user friendly.

Sound:
I recently recorded a live rehearsal at my church. I could not tell the difference from the original when playing through the same monitors. It was great!! With all the additional tools you can improve the sound of a less than perfect voice (such as mine). It is a great recorder!!

Since I will probably not need more than 8 channals to record at once. This unit will probably meet all my requirements
