"Great sound with some awkward interfacing."
Feature:There is no direct "snip" or "trim" feature which can be performed directly on a track. Once you create a track, you're stuck with the length of what you record. You can add to it, but the only way you can reduce the length of what you've recorded is by selecting what you want to keep and copying to another unused track. You can erase segments easily, but not "snip" them out...the original time map remains. The click/tempo map implementation is rather limited and awkward. The tap tempo button is only a convenience to reset the global tempo on the fly. It will not be recorded, and cannot be used to map a subtly shifting tempo map through a whole piece. The right hand layout of the toggle wheel and arrow keys is awkward. Often one has to move from using the toggle wheel to the arrow keys, and ends up hitting the buttons in between instead. There is no increment button which would simplify entering incremental changes. The toggle wheel must be used for all numeric changes. This slows you down. The onboard drum samples are very few in number.
Quality:
CD drive is discrete but likely VERY fragile.
Desirability:
It looks better online than in person.
Sound:
Sound is its strongest feature. Even casually recorded information comes out sounding big, full, clean and impressive.
Support:
Supposed to be excellent.
