"The Revival"

Sound:

This is the best recreation of Emu's sounds that Ive heard yet. If you're looking to revive your old hardware into it's software equivalent. This is for you.

Feature:

Coming from Window's Emulator X to the Mac version of Dimension pro is quite a switch. Emu's software had a variety of editing and midi control options what made tweaking my sounds easier. Dimension pro is going to take a while for me to get used to. The interfeace just doesn't stick out the features that I used the most. I find myself confused at times, but I'm sure it will come to me when I dig deeper into the program.

Ease of Use:

Very easy to find sounds. A LOT more stable than Emulator X. This program has never crashed. HOWEVER, I did have a LOT of headache installing. But once installed, its all good from there.

Quality:

Best replication of the hardware equavalents.

Manufacturer Support:

Support was ok. They responded often, but took a while to get useful help.

Value:

Try buying each one of these modules used and you will spend more money, and use more electricity

The Wow Factor:

It definitely benefits me to have all these presets which take about 600mb.

Overall:

If you know about these synths, and desire them, get this. If you've never heard of Emu, you should probably keep moving.
