Sound:

I recently ordered the Roland CakeWalk V20 Studio. It was sent out the same day and recieved it the next morning. Now thats Class!!!!! I Love the V20 it's the first computer software and Hardware unit combo that I have ever used and as a Guitar Player I must say I fell right to work on it .It is very simple to use and does everything it advertised. I layed down 3 Guitar tracks and 1 Vocal Track on top of a backing track of Bass and Drums, and Burn it to CD within 2 Hoursthe first time, with excellent sound quality. I hope in the future they get more support and knowledge base sites on it in the future but for now there is enough to get going.I am well pleased with it, after using the Boss BR 900 CD.The V20 has 32 tracks you can played with and doing a retake is nothing.I have not used the onboard mics yet.The Guitar effects and the editing you can do with them make any sound avaiable, I must say that is the Best pedal board setup I have ever used or seen.The editing of your tracks and vocals is a breeze with all the effects and EQs it has, plus a Master EQ. I have not recorded in a live situation yet but I am sure it will get the job done.I am running it on a HP Laptop Dual Core 2.0mhz with 3gb ram and have had no problem what so ever.I Love it. Feature:

You get the software, hardware unit which is great for setting your levels etc... And even a US cord. Your ready , I don't know of anything other than more knowledge sites for all the features.

Ease of Use:

Great Sound,easy editing of the guitar effects set them how you want and click write,then name it. The learning is as hard as it is long to read the short manual supplied with it.I suggest a pair of studio monitors. I used the Edirol MA 15D Studio speakers about $200.00 and a 12" $99.00 Sony Powered Sub and they work great.The hardware unit has it's own built in sound card so you don't need any fancy soundcard for your laptop, they took care of that.The Guitar to Bass detuning works great.

For the money you can't get no better!!!

Better priced by far as compared to other setups that would have all the figures.

Nice and Simple and very clean and user friendly.

I can't answer that at this stage.If it were stolen I would buy another just like it.
