    "Improve your sound with Celestion."

    Feature:
what accesories do you have at speakears ? ... a box ? :)

    Quality:
The quality is very good. I did't had problems with it... but I saw that mine was buit in China... but I think that they did a pretty good job.

    Value:
I think that Celestion is something special. They are still kings amoung other speakers manufacters.

    Desirability:
The sex appeal is for me the sound ... I bought recently the Digitech's Jimi Hendrix artist pedal and I must say that it sounds very well. I think that I will buy another one in the near future and put it in my amp in parallel configuration with the other one ... remmeber that I want big sound surface.

    Sound:
I replaced an vintage speaker from an old Hohner amp with this one. I belive that those guys that are saying that the 16 ohms version is better than the 8 ohms version don't know what they're taking about. Please try to put this speakear into an amp that was designed to have 8 ohms speakears. Of course that if you put this speaker into an 16 ohms designed amp you're not gone end well. Come on ... if you bought the thing and you realized that you have an 16 ohms designed amp put two 8 ohms speakears into the amp in serial configuration ... if you have plenty space in it... I have(by the way). The sound of the speaker is very good ... the guys that said otherwise don't know many things about electronics(sorry gentlemens). After I changed the vintage speaker with the Celestion Vintage 30 speaker the sound was improved. It has a very nice attack ... and it is indeed copyied after the vintage ones. The problem that many people are not aware with the amps is the useful surface of the amp ... you must realize that an amp with two speakers is much better than having only one speaker. You must experience amps with many speakears to realize what i'm talking here. This is the thing that we all learn ... in time.

    Support:
I have one year of warranty ... that's enough.

    Overall:
I'm giving a 9 because I think that the original vintage speakears were even better than this things. I still didn't heard another speaker that sounds like those of Jimi ... but the problem is more complex there(good guitar, good strings, good amp electronics, good tubes and above all ... the best hand that ever played on guitar).

"DON'T EVER BUY 8OHM VINTAGE 30'S!!! BUY THE 16OHM'S INSTEAD."

    Sound:
Get the 16 ohm version!!!! The 8ohm version run too loud and don't saturate well.... Numerically running a marshall head and 4x12 thing just don't add up. You'll end up with either a 8ohm or 32ohm load on your head %^&*(!!!. What the ____. I've had the 8ohm. I've had the 16 ohm.... Get the 16ohm.... Price: well that's another can of worms...
