"Portability King"
Sound:
It dosent give off "sound" like this review asks for - but I can comment that the "sound activation" part of the unit functions nicely and responds well to music - even though for Wash lighting I usually keep in on the solid color.
Feature:
The patterns are pretty standard but again, for a wash lighting system I usually keep it solid. The included footpedal is awesome for me and my one man gig. Overall I think its a pretty simple unit so feature wise I can say it does what it needs to do and does it well. You might even be able to get away with this unit for some effects lighting instead of a pure wash.
Ease of Use:
Ease of use is really where this baby shines. Portability and weight is just outstanding. I usually dont even take my old cans anymore. Takes 2min to set and and 2min to take down. Lets me spend more time on other things in my setup process. Ive got to say - if ease of use and portability is your concern - this is it.
Quality:
Chauvet came through on the quality for this one. The actuall bar is a nice sturdy metal and all the connections are solid too. The stand and footpedal are also a nice metal and have stood up to about 7 gigs with no issues so far. The cord for the footpedal is nice and long and screws into the bar securely. The control panel on the back is easy to use. The carrying case is also very well made. I know Chauvet did the lighting installation at my local club and I trust what they make for the most part. The ADJ alternative dosent look as good - though Ive never used it.
Manufacturer Support:
Like I said before - Chauvet is known for their high-end club installs and if a club owner trusts them - so do I. I havent had to deal with them yet because my unit has had no problems.
Value:
For the price you get not only a super portable and bright setup - but the build quality is definately where I expect it to be for the money. Its not cheap but you get what you pay for and I am satisfied on many levels.
The Wow Factor:
I have had comments on it just about everywhere Ive gone with it. It replaces that typical big hot Par Can look with a sleek and modern alternative that weighs half as much.

"The best lights for club bands"

Sound:
Well this entry is asking for sound quality,These lights have nothing to do with the sound.
Ease of Use:
Set up takes me about 5 minutes.When the show is over they're ready to go right back in the case. Never have to worry about a HOT light, they never get hot.

Value:
Yes!However it would be nice if they went on sale now and then!

Some of my musician friends will buy the same set.
Overall:
Light weight,easy quick setup. I hated the old fashion lights that got so hot they had to be the last thing to pack up after a gig,and they still weren't cooled off. These lights never get hot. I LOVE them. Although I had to buy a 2nd. set because they don't light up the whole stage.
