"Does the job great/works well/solidly made."
Feature:it's 9v adaptor. and it does that well. pretty solid. However, "zero hum"? I don't know about that. i still get the hum from the amp, although it's less than with batteries. (the hum may be caused by my amp/guitar, and I do use very high levels of distortion; with normal levels, there's no hum)
Quality:
looks and feels very solid. finish is great. it works pretty well so far.
Value:
I use this with my Danelectro FAB distortion pedal for home use. I ran thru 2 9v batteries in about 4 hrs (that's 2-3 bucks). when I think of how much money I'll save with this thing (was only 9 bucks), the value is almost endless;
Desirability:
black, square box with a cord. I don't know how a Dc power adaptor can look sexy.
Sound:
n/a it's a power adaptor
Support:
not needed yet.
Overall:
I chose this because it's totally compatible with the Dano pedal that I use, I usually buy accesories from the parent company, if possible. if this was stolen, I'd buy it again. I'm giving 9 overall only because I haven't owned it long. (at THIS moment it's a 10 actually :)
