"Great for Hendrix/Woodstock sound."
Feature:When I got mine, it came with a knob protector, so that was a plus, but then it doesn't fit in the case I have for it. The most useful feature is Speed, how fast your vibrato is. Intensity is allright, just how strong/noticeable it is. I thought it was fine the way it was though, it fitted my needs.
Quality:
The quality is terriffic! I've heard reviews of it busting in a week or pieces falling off. I don't see how it's possible unless your feet are huge or you weigh over 200+ pounds. All it requires is a slight push from the toes of your shoe, no stomping it. Well, it is made of plastic though, so I guess if you're into stomping the hell out of your pedals, then don't get this. This pedal is very durable though. It's very reliable, it's never ever broken or messed up on me yet and I've had this for a long time. I'm a bit worried maybe I'll need to replace a part, but when that time comes you can just take it to a local shop.. I use it on the road. I'm always travelling (every week) and it holds up great, but then I have a case to protect it so.... It seems like it'll last for a long time. It's gone this long and sounds better than ever.
Value:
It's definately worth it for a starter on a budget. But if you want something with more settings buy a Digitech. But for starters getting to know the world of pedals, this is a great first step.
Desirability:
Well, I really wanted something like this to get more of a hendrix variety going without spending 100+ on Digitech's Hendrix pedal. And so far it works great. The color is a little nauseating, bright orange/red isn't a good choice. And the names are really a turn-off, but for such a cheap price, I guess there's a requirement for some negatives such as names and tacky colors. :P But if you can look past that and just enjoy the sound, it's a very attractive pedal.
Sound:
Imagine playing like Jimi Hendrix did when he played the Star Spangled Banner and Purple Haze at Woodstock. Mix this with a Phaser and you can get that exact sound! The sound quality is great. This when mixed with a Phaser at the right settings can give you a good Hendrix @ Woodstock sound. Turning the intensity down and sound up it really makes a hollow mono-tone sound, pretty cool for intros.
Support:
5 cause I really don't know? I've never had to contact the company about these products. So I don't know?
Overall:
Well, I have it for a long time and I still enjoy it as the day I got it. I'll be playing with it for a long time, as long as I can, cause you really can get a nice variety of sounds out of this pedal. If it were lost or stolen I'd probably move onto the Dano French Fry or Pepperoni Phaser, but.. I dunno? It really helps meet my needs as a musician and I'd recommend it to anyone without the high budget. The only thing I like least about this is the name and the fact that it eats batteries fast! Just buy a Universal Adapter though and it works fine.
