Style of Music: Any thing that I can learn.... AC-DC to ZZ-Top

Sound:

Thanks to the online sound community and providing a vast array of diverse patches, you can tune into any artist that you want to ape. I love the simplistic ways in which you can program your sounds and the combinations of effects you can use together at once. Either use the unit to tinker with the sounds or just plug into the midi cord and use the computer. Too easy to get that great sound.

Feature:

Thanks to the ever changing technology world, you can now get a USB midi cable for this processor. Just hook up the midi ends to the unit and the USB end to the computer and your off recording or updating the unit itself. The optional foot controller makes recording to the unit a breeze. Did I mention that this processor comes with its own power supply?

Quality:

I play in a Classic Rock band, I drive 30 miles to practice and the unit takes a beating. But one thing is clear, It keeps on rocking...

Manufacturer Support:

DigiTech has a great customer/product support system in place. I called about the midi cable and how to properly connect it to the computer. With in 5 minutes I was finished and downloading new patches. The last that I've checked, there was over 1011 new patches for users to download for free at the digitech.com website. Great products don't always require a great customer/product support, but this one comes with it all.

Value:

For the price, you cant go wrong. I bought this product over 3 years ago and paid $500.00 for it then, now it's less than that. If I had to do it all over again, I would pay another $500.00 for it today.....

The Wow Factor:

A tough metal body with stands the heavy abuse that I put it through an a daily basis. I call it "the monster pedel" because my friends have a small 2 button pedal made out of plastic... lol..

Sound:

Great wah @ distortion. The effects could be better, but will suffice. Great 8 track system. User friendly which is great.Great Drummer.

Ease of Use:

It works just fine @ dependable.

Quality:

Best I've seen.

Value:

The best processor I've owened over many years.

Style of Music: Live performances usually country, rock, jazz and dinner.

"Does what it says and then some.....................!!"

Sound:

This product requires alot of face time away from the band stand to make it work the way that you want. It has a huge assortment of distortion selections, but no real clean (except acoustic guitar which I might add does sound pretty close) guitar selections that you can then modify to suit your taste. If your in to playing with distortion though it is a great effects pedal, too much for what it does, but then again what isn't!

Feature:

For an effects processor, it has 28 different effects not including the variables, and distortions, all together i sumize it has about 11,000 different sound possibliities. I just wish you could piggyback some of them together (like flanger and chorus) etc.

Quality:

This thing seems to be bullet proof. I am a working musician, and have dropped it, kicked it, and had people under the influence step right on it, and it still like brand new. If the inside lasts like the outside, I will probably be able to give it to my grand son!!

Manufacturer Support:

Havn't had to use this feature yet, it worked great right out of the box.

Value:

For the money, I don't think you could buy the effects that it contains with the quality it delivers.

Overall:

Foot pedals in my mind are meant to last a long time, and be usable even if you change your type of music. I have played anything from Puddle of Mudd, to Aerosmith, to Real old Country music, and some classical and jazz. I have found it to fit right in with all music types, just different portions of the product. I wish it would ship with a memory card, but since it uses such a common one, I can understand that, but I think some stores are gonna get smart and start packaging them together for better sell apeal.

Style of Music: Metal

"Worth it"

Sound:

Sound is pretty good. The pitchshifter is ok but I think I need to fiddle around with it more to get the sound I'm looking for.

Feature:

Model came with the US adapter after I ordered the UK version. Had to buy a convertor which blew up, so I bought a bigger one which also blew up. Luckily enough, a friend discovered that a Super Nintendo adapter works perfectly with it :-)

Quality:

Sturdy, can't see anything that could break on it.

Manufacturer Support:

Sent them a mail about the adapter problem but all I got was an automated e-mail response.

Value:

Worth every cent

The Wow Factor:

The 8-track alone makes it worth selling an arm for.

I've tried the rp250,rp350 and I was very happy with them. The GNX3 makes me very,very happy .Ihave not tried recording yet but I'm sure it won't let me down . For the price you can't go wrong with all the good stuff it does . Like to thank the staff for their help.

Feature:

I ONLY WISH IT CAME with media cards. Every thing elsecomes with it.ALOT OF good effects .

Ease of Use:

I'ts kinda self exsplanatory if you know what your doing . Read your handbook . It is easy to use .

Quality:

It's heavy very solid metal chasis . I don,t need a backup .

Manufacturer Support:

I NEVER HAD TO CALL TECH SUPPORT .

"THE GNX3 A KICK ASS PEDDLE"

Sound:

the sound is kick ass it is without a doubt the best processing peddle ive ever heard and ive owned a lot of multi effect peddles in my career as a performing guitarest

Feature:

the best accsesories it had was the included computer softwear that came with it so that you can write your music to a cd

Quality:

i have no worries whatsoever with this peddle it is the most efficient peddle i have ever purchased and i would rather use it in my own home but i would have no worries taking it on the road

Value:

its price compared to other name brand peddle in my oppinion is rellatively low

i expect to be satisfied with this peddle untill it dies

Style of Music: hard and heavy

Sound:

Great! for 500 bucks. also the people at Digitech are nice, as I needed help with the recorder, and they helped me over the phone. I noticed that it sounds alot better when plugged into a full range pa system than just a amp. but when using a single 100 watt Marshall full stack it sounds much better plugged into the effect return jack in the back of the head. also it was nice to get something in the mail that was not all torn up and messed with. the people at Same Day music are cool. no rude people at Same Day music. very nice and fun to order with.ROCK ON! buy it.Digitech is killer.

Feature:

It has everything you need to get started with. I just wish it came with the smart media card for more recording time. also make sure to use good cables with this puppy. get ya some nice munster , monster cables ! lol.

Quality:

Great condition . built very well for the price.

Style of Music: rock , alternative, drum and bass

"This is the best product of its type that I have ever used. IT is sleek and fits your every muscial need."

Sound:

I would characterize the sound of this product as one of the higher quality machines. The sound quality is extremely good. The sound is the most expressive out of the other GNX's and other machines i've used. I think the GNX3 improves the sound of my playing greatly. This machine hits the nail on the head when it comes to compatibility with my playing style. Some of the sounds are better than the others. This product sounds awesome by itself. I am sure that it would sound amazing with another product.

Feature:

Yes the product came with several accessories. One of my favorite features is the chromatic tuner it has built in, anothe rfeature i like is the ability to beable to "talk" your guitar with the GNX's help.

Quality:

This product is made very very well. The factory quality control is great, the finish and fit is just so awesome, no there werent any parts of blemishes. This product is very realiable. Yes the product would be appropriate to take on the road.

Manufacturer Support:

No I have not dealt with the company.

Value:

Yeah it sorta is worth the typical selling price compared to some of the other items on the market.

The Wow Factor:

The sex appeal is great.

Overall:

I would be satisfied with this product for as long as i can keep playin my guitar. No, if I had one i would not replace it. O yes this product helps me meet my musical goals. No i would not replace it with another product except the GNX4 maybe. I like prretty much everything about it. The only thing I dont like about it is the heavyness of it.
